“What happened to Violet? Did you propose her when you went to the supermarket with her?” I asked Ethan. He looked at me while shrinking his nose. “What? No…. why would I do that?” he yelled and asked me at the end. I raised my brows at him in confusion. “She was nervous and scared when she came back. I noticed that she was trying to avoid you the rest of the time”, I told him what I had noticed there. We were in his car right now, going back to his home. A sly smirk formed on his lips which made me curious now. “I like her… this is right… but I don’t think that I like her in that way”, he replied to me in a calm tone and I jerked my head backward in confusion.
