Escape

It's been a couple of weeks since I've met my so-called brothers. I'm so bored in this house, as Storm won't let me leave, due to my many attempts of escape. "Can we do something? I'm tired of being trapped in here all day." I asked Rain. "Sadly, no. You've tried to run away multiple times, and we end up chasing you. So no." He replied, without looking up from his book. "Ugh, I hate this stupid place." I kicked a book. "Watch it, that attitude isn't going to get you anywhere." Storm said, coming in with food. "Oh, that smells good. Is it for me?" I smiled at him "No, this is for good boys." He laughed. I just squinted my eyes at him and sighed. Storm walks over to me and hugs my shoulder. "What are you reading?" He asked. "Honestly, I don't know. I picked up the first thing I could find." I answered honestly. "Hmm." He replied. I didn't realize, but I had tilted my neck for him so he could lay his head down. It wasn't uncomfortable, but when did I start losing my detection skills. "Scoot up." He told me. "What, no. I'm comfortable where I'm at." I argued. He raised one eyebrow at me as if to challenge me. Well, buddy, I'm not giving up. I gave up." Do you have to sit behind me?" I asked. "Trust me. Do you have trust issues?" He laughed. "Just on people that I don't know." I whispered. "Well, I would hope you k ow me by now." He replied. I never knew how they could hear me whisper. "Hey -" Someone barges in before I could ask. "One of our guards at the gates has been injured." He rushed the words out. Next thing I know, I'm being picked up and thrown to Rain. "Ooof. What the He**?" I asked Rain smacked the back of my head. "No cussing." He said. "Ok, ok." I replied. "Get Night to a safe place and don't let him out of your site." Storm said, running out. "Wait, what actually going on." I look up at Rain. "Rail!!" He said. He grabbed me by the hand and led me to our room. Yes, our room. "RAIL!!!" He yelled. "RAIL, WHERE ARE YOU. WE HAVE TO GO." He ran around the room looking for Rail. "Ow." He fell down to the ground. I ran over. "Are you ok? What happened?" I asked. "It's Rail. He's in danger." He replied, getting up. "Stay here and lock the door. If you are not here when I get back, there will be punishment." He told me. "Geez, ok." I said to myself when he shut the door. I'm now just pacing the room, as it's been almost an hour since I've heard anything. "What is going on? This fu**ing door isn't opening." I was struggling to get this door opened. I can't even see out the windows, I think it's a security system. *knocking* I look towards the door. "Hello, can you let me out? I can help." I said, hoping they let me out. "Night, it's me, Selena." Her voice came through. "Oh, thank God. please get me out of here. I've been trying since they took me." I told her. "Ok. Umm, how do I open this?" She was confused. "I don't know. Do you see anything that I could crawl through?" I asked "Hmm, yes, there is. Hang on. I'll be back." She ran off A couple more minutes go by, and i hear banging. "Got it!" She squealed. "Alright, let's go." I said as I grabbed her hand. "Dad is waiting in the car down the road." She rushed out. We kept running down different corridors only to go back to the room. "Why are we here again?" She asked. "Cause I've only successfully escaped when I was outside." I let her know. I hear footsteps are coming. "Hide, someone's coming." I pushed her into a closet. "NIGHT!!!!" Storm screamed. He ran to me and hugged me tightly. I was confused and shocked he ran to me, so concerned. "Is everything ok?" I asked. "We need to get you out of here and you a safe house." He pulled me away from the closet. I reached down to wipe the sweat from my palm and feel something in my pants. I look at the closet and smile. "Sorry, Storm, I'm not coming with you." "Wh -" as he turned around, I shocked him. He lays on the ground, and I go grab Salena. "We have to go now." I ran over Storms body. "Ah," Selena yelled out. I turned to find Storm grabbed her. "Night, don't go. Please. we are here to protect you." He pleaded. Selena kicked his hand, but he's not budging. "Let me go." She grunted. Storm starts to get up, but I hold to taser up. "Let her go." I seethe through my teeth. "Night, please." He pleaded with his eyes. "Storm, Night!?" Rain yells. I turned, and he took the opportunity to grab the taser. "NO!!" I yelled. Storm holds me down, but I'm not giving up. "You got him?" Rain asked. "Why did you leave him alone?" Storm yelled. "Rail was in trouble,he got hurt, and -" "And, what. You risk our other mate to be taken again." Storm interrupted. Rain looked down. He was dejected. Selena took this opportunity to shoot Rain. She nailed him right in the shoulder. My eyes go big. Storm runs over to him as he hits the ground. Selena runs to me. "Get up, we got to go. The windows are opened. Let go that way." She said as she pulled me. I couldn't look away. Rain wasn't moving. I was actually scared he was dead. "Rain, please wake up." I whispered. My eyes started to water as both Selnea and I went through the window. We landed hard on the ground "Ah," I yelled. Selena doesn't even take a second to react. She grabs me, and we run towards the woods. We are almost out, and I turned to see if any of them are following. I don't even sense any of them "Dad, we are here." Selena said that making me come out of my trance. "Dad!" I go and hug him, but something was off. "We got him." Dad said. Selena and I look around to find that we are surrounded. "Dad, what's going on?" Selena asked. "We have our target. You're no longer needed." He exclaimed One of the men pulls out a gun and aims it at Selena. I tried to run to her, but someone else grabbed me. They put a clothe over my mouth, and everything starts to go black. No, I can't. Please, someone. All I heard next was a gunshot, and then it was nothing but darkness.
