“Kyoko!” His shout drew the other guardians' attention momentarily. Each one expressed a shout of indignation and anger when the shield shattered and several demons tore from Tama’s soul attacking Tasuki with such force that he was flung halfway across the clearing and into the maiden statue.
Tasuki spun around to attack but found he was within the cavern back on his side of the time portal… and he wasn’t alone. The demons that had attacked him had followed him through. He could still hear the fight raging on the other side but he could only see shadows dancing across the caverns walls. His attention was quickly gained when he felt the claws of a demon slice through his side. He took all the anger at being separated from Kyoko and turned on the demons.
