SOPHIA'S POV
I felt like screaming, dragging my hair and most of all, killing her! Why did she have to exist? When the b***h tried sitting up, Magnus hurried over to place pillows by her side and at the headboard for her to be comfortable. I also noticed the same ring on her finger, and it fitted her like a second skin. She was beautiful and I was sure we'd have been friends if not for the circumstances surrounding our meeting. She was like a doll- yes! I'm complementing her beauty but that doesn't mean that Magnus would have chosen her over me.
After a long period of awkward silence, Magnus signaled for us to go out- because his b***h was sleeping. Finally outside, the tenderness that was on his features was now replaced with coldness.
MAGNUS' POV
I was enjoying my sweet moment with Resse, steadily pounding into her. When suddenly, I heard her soft voice ring out, "Mhhm mm,Odin, ouch, sl-slow-ly ple-ease, it hurts". Joy engulfed my heart-but I didn't let it show because she had nicknamed me and I love the feel of the name.
*Few Moments Earlier*
I had gifted her the ring of the mates as a gift of assurance that I would never leave her. I needed to show the world that she was mated. I knew that without the ring or a marking, they might view her as a prey and want to take advantage of her. She was too pretty for her own sake and would be easily sought after by men. But with the ring, she was partially under my cover and temporarily safe,- because there's no safe in the mafia. The vampires respect boundaries but not the mafia.
An unexpected guest arrived cutting our sweet moment short just when I was about to pour my seed into Resse. Turning back, I noticed it was Sophia- my childhood bride. She had been obsessed with me since I was 5. We all know that during our childhood, we are always married to one of our female or male friends and that was the case of mine. Only that she took it too personal. Pouring my seed into Resse, I kissed her forehead and covered her with a blanket. Putting on my pants, I signaled Sophia for us to meet outside as I didn't want to wake Resse. Taking one more look inside with bliss in my heart, I closed the door silently so that the little angel would get her sleep in peace- because I haven't been very easy on her. Immediately I turned to face Sophia, all warmth left my features.
I coldly regarded her," Sophia when did you arrive?" She happily answered like I had proposed marriage to her," Just today. You know I missed you so much and couldn't..." I cut her short, "Soph I asked a question. I didn't expect you to go into details. I have told you never to come to my house unannounced, this is also your house since we're literally siblings but note that I have a life". I always knew she had a crush on me but it was getting overbearing.
"Siblings?, seriously is that what you call us! Magnus you know I've loved you since I was 7 and I want to be your wife, I want to warm your bed and not that b***h occupying my space". I tried to be considerate because our parents were friends but I wouldn't condone her calling my mate a b***h. My jaw ticked and I told her, "Soph, if you value your life and tongue, don't insult my woman or regard her badly or else what I'll do to you, you'll forever live to remember it. Stick in your thick skull that she's my mate and there's nothing you can do about it.
SOPHIA'S POV
Hearing that b***h was Magnus' mate, I suddenly lost it. I pushed open his door with a clear mission in my mind. Beat that b***h up and show her who's boss. Before Magnus could react, I lunged at the b***h, dragging her by her hair and onto the cold marbled floor. She immediately winced in pain at the impact but didn't cry which made me infuriated the more. As I raised my hand to slap her, I was stopped by the cold blade that was placed on my neck. I immediately released the b***h, realizing the severity of my action - I had acted unladylike in front of Magnus, I had ruined my perfect image in his eyes.
