Chapter 31

He was never like this around his friends, around the circle of friends and not even when his around his parents.

"It's a shame living alone in someone's house, but I will take this for now for I have no other place to shield myself," Yvonne responded and nodded.

"Help yourself here," he said and stared at Yvonne.

He could say that she really need time alone. Plus, it would be so awkward for the two of them staying here together with the fact that they don't know each other. He was complacent to let Yvonne live in here for he doesn't have his valuable things in here. Although, some of the stuffs in her kind off worth more than tbe average, he trusted Yvonne and he hoped that she would take care of this place.

Also, he is not like he's not going back in here. He will be regularly checking on Yvonne here. He turned his back and closed the door. He then went outside directly from upstairs and didn't bother to look back. He gave Yvonne the spare key and that's fine.

While driving along this long highway, he couldn't help but to think the scene and experienced they had in their first time joining the battle. They didn't missed up, they succeeded and after the day they brought Allan Felices outside of Herria, and after they went out from that town, there was no news about Herria anymore.

Everything about them stopped. No one spotted the group in everywhere. They were silent and that, kind off worry him a lot. Herria was now back to it's old peacefulness.

Before he finally reached in front of his parent's gate, he then saw Leticia's car coming from the other way. He then followed Leticia's car inside. He glances his wristwatch and saw that it only has 5 minutes left before 5 pm. There was never a time that Leticia been late in any event and meetings. She was always been a punctual.

Leticia went out from the driver's seat with so much fire in her eyes. Her eyes was swollen and that means she cried a lot.

"Sia, are you okay?" He immediately succored the pregnant fiance of his late brother. He panicked upon seeing Leticia's tears flows in her eyes and she was in her serious face.

"Naizen, I want you to take a look at this and understand everything about this," she seriously said and immediately handed the envelope at him.

Naizen accepted the thing and nodded. "Let's get inside. I haven't talk to mom and dad last night when I came home. I will take a look at this as promise. Now, are you? About your pregnancy? How is it going? By any chance, do you happen to know the gender of my future niece or nephew?" he asked trying to lighten up the atmosphere around Leticia.

He know that whenever he found out what the hell has this envelope inside, he would also feel how Leticia felt or maybe, he would feel worst than anyone.

"I haven't been to my obgyne to know the gender of the baby yet. I was praying so hard that hopefully you and would be able to go home alive. I don't have anyone to bear this Harry's memory with me. I will be needing you guys," Leticia answered after her eyes narrowed when he switches the topic.

Good thing Leticia was always been a fast reader of anyone's reaction.

"Well then, since we went home whole and alive, I will call Ellen to accompany you to your doctor and know the future heir of the Alvarez," he said and chuckled when she saw how Leticia cracked into a smile.

"It's my second trimester, I would be able to know the gender of my and Harry's baby. If only I didn't wait for him to come back and just told him that I was bearing his child when he was away. He or she was 4 months peacefully leaving inside my tummy when his dad passed away," Leticia responded with full of so much pain.

"Harry would never leave you alone, Leticia. He ----"

"God! Naizen, you're home! How dare you to come here last night without telling me and your dad. Left without waiting for your parents to wake up?! Oh, Leticia! You're here!" He didn't finish telling Leticia some words to lighten her up from sadness the moment they remembered the memory of Harry when his mom's voice echoed the whole living room.

"Hello, auntie," Leticia greeted his mom and gave her a kiss in the cheek.

"Hello there, hija. How are you doing? How's my grandchild?" his mom focused to Leticia, even caressing his baby bump.

Naizen thanks to all Saint that Leticia was here and his mom immediately shifted her emotions and became so excited seeing Leticia who's bearing her future first grandchild. He was certain that this kid will be so much spoiled and all.

"We're find, auntie. The baby is doing well, I had done doing ultrasound and the baby was so healthy. I haven't check the gender yet for I would love to know it with Ellen," Leticia answered.

Her mom's smiled widened like a saucer and nodded. She obviously was so fond with Leticia, well, Leticia was a dream girl and they were so happy when Harry introduced Leticia as her girlfriend.

"That's great," his mom mumbled and the smile she has in her face faded upon switching to meet his gaze. "Now, time to deal with me, young Alvarez! Explain, you know I didn't approve your plan of joining the force!"

"Mom, will you please come down?" he immediately defended with his hand raised for defense. "I did not wait for you and dad to wake up intentionally. I just had an important matter to attend too quick. I was with Ellen and Hector. But, I will not be leaving too soon, I will be staying in here during the whole vacation."
