"Really? People here must be good. I came here 2 days ago and I wasn't able to see whatever the village has nor roam here around. Maybe the next day, I will spend a day to roam this place," she answered smiling to Philamie. "Every December, we have an activity at the covered court and everyone will be there. That would be 3 months from now, you will surely experience the best Christmas party, I promise you," Philamie said excitedly and even giggled. Yvonne smiled a little, at first, she never think of joining other people's activity for she have different plans with herself. But seems like, it won't hurt joining and knowing neighborhood for who knows they can help you, who knows that she could make friend in here. "I would look forward to that," she simply answered. "Sure!" Philamie answered with giggles. Yvonne's eyes widened when Philamie held her hand and dragged her somewhere while running. The company was smiling widely looking at her when her eyes widened a lot. "H-hey! Where are we going?" she asked in startle. She was pulling Philamie's hand back to make her stop but this woman was unstoppable for she really pulled her with all her might and even have the guts of looking back and look at her. "The neighbor's cafe opened yesterday and I was planning to be in here. Now that I found a new friend, why not go there together?" She gasped as she heard Philamie's words. What the heck! She doesn't have money! She panicked and with all her might, she stopped running that made Philamie stopped as well. Philamie looked at her with so much of a confusion in her eyes. "I-I don't have any money with me," she said in her low tone and awkwardness filled the atmosphere of this early morning. Philamie smiled as she had Yvonne's words absorbed in her mind, she then chuckled a little and all. "That's the problem? You have nothing to worry about, Yvonne. I was the one who asked you to be in the cafe. It's a shame for me to let you spend a penny when in fact, I asked you to come with me, my treat and no buts," the woman said and immediately dragged her. She didn't find a word to spill now for her body was following Philamie. She didn't say anything until she can now see the cafe in just meter away from them. "That cafe looks like would never sell something cheap," she couldn't help but to spill what she has in mind for with a single glance with that cafe, she already knew their product would cost gold. "Don't worry, I have known the owner of that cafe for 5 years now and I know she's a great chef. She ready loves baking, I am sure that her cakes and pastries would surely taste good. I promise you, my treat," Philamie said with a little, trying to really get her to be with her. Well, the other side of her mind was thinking that this well be a good breakfast. She had experienced fancy restaurant when Ellen brought her there and now, she had found new person — Philamie herself, would treat her to experience a fancy cafe. So this is how wealthy people works. They won't mind spending their money to other people for they know they still have much of it everywhere. "Time will come that I would also be able to treat you," she said that made Philamie looks at her, nodded and smiled. "I will be waiting for the time will come," Philamie responded. Yvonne scanned the whole place the moment they entered inside. She can feel the classness of the ambiance, the aroma of the place because of the coffee that the people are drinking. When the guard said welcome inside, she knew that she will be stepping a place for riches. "Which one do you like to try, Yvonne?" she heard Philamie asked when they finally sat their ass down in the chair and the book of menu was already placed on the table. "I remembered you said that this cafe premiered yesterday? Is that means that you have no idea which among these foods menu are the best?" she asked and Philamie nodded. "Yes, and that is why I am happy because I realized, why should we not order everything. Let's try them all, the cake and the pastries. Everything in here aside from the coffee for I have my only coffee preference," she answered that made Yvonne gulped. She never tried this coffee, upon reading these coffee names, she knew she never tried this her whole life. "They're, they're expensive," she mumbled without taking her eyes off of the menu. She was flipping from one page to another and she kept on seeing expensive coffee and others foods. "They're actually not," she heard Philamie responded and that made her look at Philamie with such wide eyes. How the f*ck she would say no when it was really expensive? "What?!" she couldn't help but to question the woman's word of no. "Damn! I can buy a sack of rice with this prices." Philamie chuckled looking at her with disbelief. "Where did you came from, Yvonne, and what do you do?" That question was kind off taken her back. She gulped with her own saliva and stopped flipping pages. Is it valid to feel ashame of the life she got? Is it valid to be ashame if you are going to tell the truth about you? "I came from a very small town I don't want to remember the name for I lived my life miserable in there. What do I do? For now, I was looking for a job that would support me with my daily expenses and all," she answered straight and directly. Philamie was kind off amused with her unfiltered answer. She indeed was looking so fearless while telling such information for she was managing herself to never look away and had her eyes stick to Philamies.
