Chapter 4: On The Way To School

As I'm approaching the divided road my schoolmate Juliet coming at the same time as me..I ask her hey how was your weekend, she said well my grandparents only give me 1 dollar. I said to her well that's better than nothing you know. Juliet ask me how about you J'anne how was your weekend with your grandma I said terrible.
Juliet: she didn't give you half of the profit again huh.
Nope she didn't, you know J'anne you do that all the time and you let your grandmother taking advantage on you, she should at least give you money even if it's not half that supposedly you two had agreement.
Me: I know it hurts but even though she does that she still my grandma and need help.
Yeah I understand but not like this she use you as her slave and she is making money. Maybe some chores something like that, but not this you know!
I know I know I'll still stay with her though and help her. Juliet: geeezzz you sure do have a heart of gold. But you need to stop though, and don't let anyone step on you. Because one day even when you grow up and being adult they'll will be more people taking advantage on your kindness while she is is tapping my shoulder.

As we walk ourselves I was asking her where my cousin Janet. Juliet: I don't know maybe she is late so we keep walking then then as we passed through the guava fruits we were picking them for free in the wild.
Juliet and I picked a lot a bring them to school to exchange with papers and pens for other students. We bring it to the store nearby our school and sell them to get a little bit of money. We were giggling together while counting our money, it's only a little but enough to buy papers and pen or food for snacks.
Juliet and I is ready to head inside the school campus and here comes my cousins panting from God knows running I guess.
Hey cousin hey Juliet, we say together to her hey. Why are you late? Janet: I didn't get up to bed right away. Juliet and I clap our hands together and laughing at my cousin.
Janet: Sssshhhh both of you
Juliet: hey guys I'm going in my class will start soon. Me: Ok see you later Juliet.
Juliet was on section B and I was section A.
My cousin Janet was a year ahead of us.
So Juliet and I are on first grade of Elementary while my cousin Janet is 3rd grade in Elementary.
Well cousin I gotta go my class will be starting soon. See you later!
Janet: ok see you later
Before I went inside my classroom Lea was standing outside the door with a big smile on her face.
Good morning to you Lea.
Lea: good morning to you too, what kind of lunch do you have today?
Me: ahhh
Lea: what kind of lunch do you have for today.
Me: cows, goat, carabao, horses and more
Lea: her eyes was bulging out of what she hears.
Me: laughing so hard, I can't believe you reaction Lea. It's like you got strict by a lightning.
Lea: you know you are not funny
Me: I know,
Me: you want to know what is my lunch for today. I had the same thing so now you got it.
Lea: the same thing again Corn and dried fish.
Me: well yeah, looking Lea face I know she is going to brag her lunch what kind she would have today.
Lea: well me I have jasmine rice and chorizo
Me: wow my mouth is watering just thinking about it.
Me: well good for you and enjoy then!
We all are seated on our classroom while my wonderful teacher is lecturing us. Lea keep talking and talking and I got annoyed because I want to listen our teacher properly.
I told Lea to shut up and pay attention an our teacher finally had it and ask Lea to move in different chair. Thank goodness I'm in peace right now and I can concentrate the class.
It's almost noon time finally our teacher announced it's lunch time everyone can go out to eat or stay in the room and eat your food. But Don't forget to clean up after, you got it. YES MA'AM
After a couple minutes some students went out to eat outside or nearby the river with other students. This is what we do everyday since our school is nearby the big river anyway.
Minutes later one student came inside the classroom looking for me. She ask me if I can go up to the teachers canteen so I went up.
And wow it smells so good with all the good food they are cooking. My teacher ask me to do a little bit of work then she was giving me a lot of food to eat. Also she gives me a huge amount of bread. I was so famished and eat them all burrrp....
My teacher, how was the food, burrrrp...I'm sorry she was smiling at me. It was so good, thank you so much teacher for the food. I REALLY2X appreciate very much.

I was fiddling my fingers and feel so low, hey do not feel bad ok any food I can give you. I will give you because you are good kid. You can go back to the classroom now I will see you.
Once again I was so thankful for the food ma'am. You're welcome now go I'm glad you enjoy the food. I smile and run off!
As I'm approaching the classroom Lea was on my tail asking too much questions where I've been.
I was on the teacher canteen doing cleaning a little. Who ask you to do that, why do you have so much questions though. Can you quit asking me and focus on something please, because you start to get annoying to mind my business.
