Their beginning

When Eleanor arrived in Beijing, China she was amazed by the sight that met her .She came from Kenya and at 22 she had managed to become a professional lecturer.Many doubted her because of her age but they eventually accepted her after taking her class.She was beyond smart ,her pear type body and the face of an angel ( doe eyes lightly hazel) complemented her modest way of dressing.A few weeks after she arrived in China Eleanor stared at her phone screen while clutching her stomach in pain.She checked the time and it wasn't that late it was about 8pm,the frown that was etched on her face disappeared.

She took her sweater and left her teacher's quarters on campus to go to the hospital.She had a bad stomach ache since she wasn't used to Chinese food.The hospital was far from her university residence so she opted to use a shortcut,when she was about to enter the pathway she overheard two men speaking.They mentioned how they needed to to find a man named Axel Lee and end his life or else they would have to pay with their lives.They were clearly assassins, Eleanor was way too nice the first thought she had was to warn him .She wasn't sure if he was near although in pain she searched the premises.She wasn't sure whether he was near,when she lost hope she bumped into him.A tall man with chiseled features and a figure his fine clothes couldn't hide.

"Watch where you're going little girl,"the man said his voice deep and calming yet daunting.She froze then she apologized then she said "Are you Mr.Lee by any chance,"this question made him glare at her .His dark red eyes stared right into her soul his attendant appeared out of thin air and he emitted murderous intent.Axel dismissed him and he claimed his identity, Eleanor then exposed those men's ploy although Axel knew he thanked her .As soon as he turned around to face Zane,his assistant, Eleanor fainted and fell to the ground with a thud .Axel turned around and sighed he then walked to where she fell and he picked her up and took her to the hospital.

He sat on the chair next to her bed where she lay pale despite the fact that she was a black queen,her paleness was evident.The doctor came in and said "This young miss has food poisoning I suppose she fainted on her way here,the impact of the fall has damaged her memory temporarily."When Axel heard this he guessed that warning him of those men's ploy was what delayed her from coming to the hospital.He looked at Eleanor laying unconscious on the bed and then he called his assistant and asked his assistant to investigate her background, within a span of minutes he found out her information.A new young teacher at Yongsei university,aged 22 from Kenya and she's new in China.After Axel finished reading her information he was sure of his next move he guessed that she didn't know who he was , judging from the way she stared right into his eyes when they met .

He stood up and went to the gigantic window that one could use to overlook the city of Beijing,the ward he put her in was beyond luxurious.Although 33 Axel had aged like fine wine he looked like he was in his prime ,the city lights made him look more divine . Eleanor opened her eyes slowly "Where am I and who are you?"Zane answered her questions the Axel finally spoke."I am Axel Lee,I might be the cause of your amnesia and I wish to take responsibility until you recover."Zane was beyond shocked, normally his boss wasn't the type of man to care ,he is extremely cold the definition of artificial intelligence he lacked emotions.She stayed in the hospital till morning,Zane bought her breakfast according to Axel's instructions.Axel went to the main desk to discharge he, he didn't need to pay as he owned the hospital.When we talk about rich this man was beyond it he had a net worth of 900 trillion.Rich to the extent that countries lined up to ask for loans including the president of his country.Axel took her to his mansion and assigned people to take care of her when he was going on a business trip for two weeks.

Eleanor learnt a lot about him from his butler and she spent those two weeks trying to recall the period she forgot.She had forgotten everything that had happened during the time she was in China.When Axel came back later from Guanzhou province he had bought her a necklace that reminded him of the day they met.The jewel was a black obsidian similar to her exotic beauty.When he showed the necklace her eyes lit up and she smiled brightly.A foreign thought came into Axel's mind "She's beautiful,"he thought to himself.She asked him to put the necklace on her,she turned around and he opened the necklace and put it on her.She was way too comfortable with him she called him informally a privilege only she had .Once she looked at her complexion in the mirror she turned to him and thanked him "Thank you Axel."He was shocked but did not push her away, Zane thought she was crazy and wanted to stop her but was dismissed by Axel.He said "You're welcome,"then he excused himself and went to his study his heart was beating fast and he wanted to forget that feeling so he drowned himself in work.The next day Eleanor decided to return to Yongsei to teach and while she was getting ready Axel called the principal and told him that he would come as a guest lecturer an offer he had turned down.He was the richest tycoon ans many universities wanted him to guide their learners and lecturers.The students were excited that he agreed although low-key he paid attention to Eleanor from a distance.He didn't want a scandal which would affect her,he also conducted late night lectures for other lecturers the male lecturers respected him and the female ones liked him although part of it was fear .That was the start of Axel's fall emotionally he was built like a fortress hardened by his father's training and coldness .Axel wasn't rich only by legitimate businesses he owned the mafia, 'The Angelini Mafia' the most powerful mafia gang in China so he was beyond dangerous .He took care of Eleanor for 5 months amd they both fell in love with each other she still wasn't able to remember,her amnesia was deemed permanent by the doctor.This scared Eleanor she didn't remember anyone from her Homeland,Kenya,and still she couldn't understand the fact that she was such a young lecturer.

Axel spent two months pursuing her properly using picnics in his mansion's vast garden and dinners in high end Michelin restaurants.One day Ellie told Axel that she wished to bear his last name ,he didn't think twice he took her to get a marriage license before the civil bureau closed.After getting the certificate Axel couldn't control his smile and happiness he kissed her on her forehead saying "Mrs Lee thank you for choosing me to be your husband I do not deserve it but I promise to treat you like the queen you are."He promised to take her ring shopping but the next day Eleanor woke up with a headache she remembered everything she had forgotten after losing her memory and forgot her memories during the time of her amnesia.They were sleeping in Separate rooms since Axel thought she was too young and he wanted her to be more comfortable with him.She winced in pain while she remembered everything but she didn't remember where she was.A servant entered her resting quarters and said "Young madam the master wishes to have breakfast with you."She was confused.
