Few months earlier
Lauren
Strolling into Cleveland hotel, in my red stiletto heels and pretty short black dress, I knew I was an hour early for my appointment with my client. I've made it a habit to always be on time, before my client gets here, prep myself and wait. This makes me feel kind of safe. My eyes covered behind large sunglasses, my straight brunette hair tucked behind my ears. Taking out my red lipstick from my purse, I reapplied it and walked inside the hotel, and down the reception desk. The lobby was unusually busy and that's because it was a weekend. I was greeted pleasantly by Ellie. Ellie was one of the clerks that had known me for over four years.
“Good afternoon Miss Bri,” She shot me a quick smile, turned to face her computer, and began punching the keys on the keyboard. “Should I just charge the card that's on the file?”
“Good afternoon, Ellie. Yes, please charge the card.” I returned the smile.
“Your key ma'am.” She handed me the card to room 308. “Enjoy your stay Bri.”
I gave her a small smile as I took the elevator up to the third floor, slid my key card and opened the door to the room I considered my office. Yes, this is where I host my clients, it's more like my business space. After throwing my purse on the sofa, I set my bag down and went into the bathroom to check myself one last time before my client arrives. Putting on my cherry red lingerie that complimented my lip stick, I applied a generous amount of vanilla fragrance body oil. Forty five minutes later, there was a light knock on the door. When I opened it, standing before me was a man who was approximately five foot eleven, with short brown hair, in his early fifties. He looked nervous. I stepped aside for him to walk in.
“Hi, I'm Brianna. You must be Thomas.” I smiled.
“Nice to meet you Brianna.”
“Please make yourself comfortable.” I gestured with my hand.
He was a nervous wreck, he took a seat on the other empty sofa in the room. He didn't look like a man who was into this. He looked like a regular American dad in a suit. Why was he here? Surprisingly I didn't care much.
“First time?” I asked, trying to ease his nervousness.
“Yes.” He turned and looked at me.
“How about a drink? I've got whiskey.” I asked as I walked towards the mini bar.
“Sure.”
I smiled and poured him a glass. “So Mr. Thomas, how do you like being a doctor?”
He answered most of my questions, we had small talks although I tried to center our conversation on him. I enjoy having conversations with my new clients, first to ease whatever tension is in the room. He sat on the edge of the bed, while I eased off my robe, exposing my form to him. I could see the beads of sweat on his forehead. I hope to God this guy wasn't having a heart attack right now. Kneeling down in front of him, I gently took off his jacket, still maintaining eye contact, slowly kissing him. He was reluctant at first but he gave in. My job was to please him, he paid for it. His hands gently roamed to my breast.
“You're a very attractive woman Brianna.”
“And you're one helluva man Thomas,” I spoke as my fingers unbuckled his belt. I could feel his body tense.
After undoing his pants, I slowly and gently slid my hand, feeling his erection. Stroking it, I could feel it harden in my hand. He let out a moan, he grabbed my hand and pushed it away from him.
“I'm really sorry Brianna, but I don't think I can do this. I'm very sorry.” He looked like he just snapped out of a trance.
I sighed as I stood up and sat down next to him. In my business I've met men who chickened out after getting here, and there are those who are overwhelmed with guilt after the act. I'll pick the former.
“Do you mind sharing what made you reach out to me in the first place? I promise I'm a good listener.”
“I've been married to Lucy for eleven years now, she was a very vibrant and attentive woman, but after our last baby, we've been distant, she doesn't have time for us anymore, her whole being is centered around the kids and it's just like I'm invisible to her. We haven't had s*x for over a year, don't get me wrong I love Lucy dearly and I appreciate how well she takes care of the kids, but I want some time for us, alone without the kids, I want the old Lucy back. I know I'm selfish but I'm not asking for too much. Despite all our problems, I don't think I can cheat on her. Just being here makes me feel guilty.” His eyes were distant.
“Listen, Thomas. I understand why you feel the way you feel, you have such a beautiful family and an amazing home. I think you need to reignite the spark. Fuel that passion. Get her flowers and chocolates, take her on dates, she also needs a break. I can guarantee that if you make her a priority and forget everything else for a minute, she'll be willing to do just anything to please you. When was the last time you told her how much you love and appreciate her?”
“Some months back, I guess.”
“Then start there. When you leave here, stop by the florist shop and get her nice flowers. I bet she'll love it. Arrange for dinner, get a babysitter to watch the kids. Just surprise her.”
He placed his hands on my thigh and gave it a gentle squeeze.
“Thank you so much. Again I'm sorry for wasting your time.”
“No you didn't, my fee is non-refundable, so I'm glad I could save you from paying for one of those marriage counseling bullshit.”
“You're correct.” He smiled as he stood up, reached into his leopard skin wallet, and pulled out several hundred dollar bills. He handed them over to me, “This is for the troubles. Thanks again for being so cool about everything.”
I took the money from him, “Thank you, I wish you and your wife the best.”
After he left the hotel, I changed into a pair of black pants, a long sleeved white shirt, and picked up my bag. I called Luke.
“I'll be out of the hotel in five.”
“Okay.” He responded.
Putting on my sunglasses, I walked out the door. I made my way to the front desk to check out.
“ You're leaving already?” Ellie said, taking her eyes off the computer screen.
“Yes Ellie. Enjoy the rest of your day.”
“You too Ma'am.”
I walked out the door, the hot air hitting my skin immediately. I climbed into the back of the coupe.
“That was quick.” Luke said, as he glanced back at me.
“He was feeling guilty. So it turned into a therapy session.” I immediately started taking off my disguise. Pulling off my brunette wig, exposing my long blonde hair, I took out my blue colored contacts, as well as my false lashes extensions. Taking out makeup remover wipes from my bag, I gently wiped the makeup off my face.
“Are we going home?” Luke asked.
“No. l need to hit the gym before heading home.”
“Okay boss.”
Luke Riley wasn't just my driver, Luke was my best friend. I've known him for over seven years, he supported me when I got pregnant with my daughter Hannah. He was a handsome man, he stood six foot two, with black hair, which he always wore short. He had full beards that he kept clean and trimmed. We met at the train station, he was sitting next to me, he complimented my dress and our conversation picked up from there. I discovered he just lost his job, it just so happened I needed someone to drive me around, so it was a win-win for both of us. It didn't take long for both of us to be inseparable, he didn't judge me for the kind of job I did, and I could talk to him about anything.
Luke pulled up in front of the gym, I got out of the car and headed inside.
I frequented the gym and the shooting range. Being a twenty eight years old high end escort in New York City, if there's one thing I need to know, is how to protect myself. Most of the men who hired my services were generally the wealthy one percent. And eighty five percent of my clients are married.
