After some minutes, I parked and we stepped out of the car, and I handed the keys to Tola. “You drive around and keep an eye out for Dapo,” I instructed. “We’ll split up and try to blend in.”
Tunde nodded, his eyes scanning the crowded market. “I want to get a face cap.”
I nodded, and we set off in different directions. I made my way to a nearby boutique, my eyes scanning the stalls for the perfect disguise. I settled on a black face cap and sunglasses, and quickly made my purchase.
After hours of searching for Dapo, I finally spotted him in the distance. My heart raced with excitement as I quickly pulled out my phone and dialed Tunde’s number.
“Bro, I’ve got him,” I whispered into the phone. “Meet me at this location.” I sent him the address via text message. “And tell Tola to park the car somewhere discreet. We don’t want Dapo to see it.”
I started walking towards Dapo, my eyes fixed on him. He was walking quickly, his eyes scanning the crowd. I knew he was on high alert, and I had to be careful.
I dialed Tola’s number, my voice barely above a whisper. “Sis, I’ve got him. I’ll send you the address. Park the car somewhere safe. We don’t want him to see it.”
“Okay, Tayo,” she replied. “I’ll find a spot. Be careful.”
I hung up the phone and continued walking towards Dapo. My heart was racing with excitement. This was it. We were finally going to catch him.
But as I got closer, I realized that Dapo was more vigilant than I had anticipated. He kept looking over his shoulder, his eyes scanning the crowd. I knew I had to be careful. One wrong move, and he would spot me.
I quickly ducked into a nearby stall, my heart racing with excitement. I peeked out of the stall, my eyes fixed on Dapo. He was still walking, his eyes fixed on the crowd.
I took a deep breath, my mind racing with possibilities. I knew I had to come up with a plan, and fast. Otherwise, Dapo would get away again.
As I watched Dapo from the stall, I noticed that he seemed to be heading towards a nearby alleyway. I quickly texted Tunde and Tola to update them on Dapo’s current location.
“He’s heading towards the alleyway on the left,” I texted. “Let’s move in.”
I waited for a moment, watching as Dapo disappeared into the alleyway. Then, I made my move, following him at a distance.
As I turned into the alleyway, I saw Tunde already there, his eyes fixed on Dapo. We moved in quietly, trying not to alert him to our presence.
But just as we were about to pounce, Dapo suddenly stopped and looked around, his eyes scanning the alleyway. We froze, holding our breath as he seemed to look right at us.
Had he seen us? We held our positions, waiting for what felt like an eternity as Dapo’s eyes narrowed, his gaze fixed on something in the distance.
And then, suddenly, he took off running, dashing out of the alleyway and into the crowded market. I gave chase, my hearts pounding as I weaved through the stalls, trying to keep up with him.
It was a tense and thrilling moment, and I could feel my heart racing with excitement. I were finally closing in on Dapo, and I knew that this was it. We were going to catch him, no matter what it took.
As I got closer, I could see the fear in his eyes. He knew I was closing in on him. I quickened my pace, my eyes fixed on him.
And then, just as I was about to grab him, he suddenly pulled out an object from his pocket and held it up. I froze, my eyes fixed on the object in his hand.
But before he could do anything, Tunde appeared out of nowhere and tackled him to the ground. The object went flying out of his hand, and I quickly grabbed it.
Dapo struggled and tried to fight back, but Tunde was too strong. He pinned Dapo to the ground, holding him in a tight grip.
“Guy, you no dey go anywhere this time around,” Tunde growled, his eyes blazing with intensity.
I watched in awe as Tunde took down Dapo. I haven’t seen him in action for a very long time, and I was impressed.
I called Tola again. “Sis, we’ve got him. Bring the car around.”
“Okay, I’m close,” she replied.
Just then, Tola pulled up in the car. “Need a hand?” she asked, eyeing Dapo’s struggling form.
Tunde nodded. “No, don’t worry. I got this.”
I nodded, feeling a sense of gratitude towards my brother. We made a good team, and I knew we could count on each other no matter what.
And as we drove away from the market, I knew that this was just the beginning. We still had to figure out what the object was, and what
