Neil stood on the spot confused about the events that had just occurred less than five minutes ago. One moment he was passionately kissing Semi and the other she ran away. He knew what he had done was out of the normal, he was Semi’s boss and a relationship between the two of them would be frowned upon.
Neil’s mind was filled, as he could not think of a way to help Semi forget what had just happened between the two of them. Neil ran in the direction that Semi had disappeared to and even as he entered the busy hall filled with people, Semi was nowhere to be found.
“Excuse me sir but are you looking for the young lady that you had come with?” Neil turned around and it was one of the waiters that he had met earlier.
“Yes, have you seen her?” Neil frantically asked the waiter.
