“You know nothing about me!” Mrs. Droviski yelled back at Semi, the anger in her eyes was evident and Semi knew from this moment to back off.
Looking into Neil’s mother’s eyes, she could see the rage in them and Semi could not understand why Neil’s mother would hate her that much. She swallowed the lump in her throat and calmed herself, knowing quite well that arguing with the older woman would get her nowhere.
Semi knew that she had far more pressing matters and one of those pressing matters was making sure that Neil was feeling better.
