Pete’s family

He shakes his head, acknowledging. I remember Pete stuttered. I’m sure you know my Luna, Izzy.

Pete’s face pales when I say, “Luna.”

First of all, we are not here to punish you; we are here to help you and your family.

You can thank Luna, Izzy, for this; his mouth drops open as he realizes who helped him and his family. I can’t believe this! She’s actually helping me.

We rescued all your family; they are all here, James told us everything.

Izzy walks out from behind me and quietly says, “Because it was the right thing to do.”

After everything I did to you, you are still helping me. Yes, but that doesn’t excuse you from what you did; besides, it wasn’t all your fault.

You have a lot to make right. But it won’t be towards me. It will be towards your own family. Your own children.

Pete lowers his head in shame. Pete? He looks up, “ I forgive you.”
