Chapter twenty eight

Taylor’s POV

When we get there, everyone else was there, even my parents.

Izzy, can I talk to you in my office for a minute? Sure, lead the way. We went out of the conference room and went two doors down.

He opened the door, and my mouth fell open. His office was huge.

He has a mahogany desk that sits in the middle of the room, couches on both sides, and two comfy chairs on the other side of his desk. The view from his office is something you only see in pictures.

My love, I have a business meeting at three p.m. hence the suit. I tried to get out of it, but this is the only time he has free, so it’s either today or not at all.

It’s beneficial to what we talked about last night after you finish your schooling and your residency.

Izzy walks out and a few minutes later she returns with Liam and Sara.

Izzy told me you wanted to talk to me, says Liam. Yes, please set down. This concerns both you and Izzy.

You and Izzy work in the city for a few days, while doing the rest here on the Pack Lands.

I bought the office building next to mine and we would convert it into a clinic for you and Izzy.

The office in the city would have a rotation of all our doctors here at the hospital.

It would be open seven days a week to help anyone that needs it.

You would be able to recruit others also. We have plenty of nurses and doctors here at the Pack that would love to help too.

It actually would benefit both of us. It would give our doctors and nurses here a chance to stay closer to home. Instead of having to work at all the different hospitals,

Izzy’s POV

I will go,” says Izzy. “There’s only one problem. I don’t have clothes for meetings.”

I don’t either,” says Liam. “ Taylor chuckles. Do doctors not wear dress clothes?”

Izzy laughed. “Yeah, sure. It’s on my top thing to do: wear dress clothes to work so I can get blood and whatever else happens that day all over them.”

Izzy smiles sweetly. “ Taylor laughs. Okay, point taken. Liam laughs. Only my sister can correct an Alpha!” Everyone burst out laughing, while Izzy just grinned.

Taylor’s and Izzy’s POV

As for your issue of clothes, that’s where my mom comes in. We can all go shopping for what everybody needs. Including your parents and grandparents, says Taylor.

Are you sure, Taylor?” Yes, I am. I jump into Taylor’s arms. “Thank you, thank you.” grins Izzy.

Everyone is waiting for us. Let’s go talk to everyone and tell them what’s going on says Taylor.

Liam and Sara go back to the other room.

Taylor’s POV

Izzy: “One more thing, I would like to introduce you to the pack and make you and your brothers members of the pack this morning before we go to the mall.

We don’t have to tell them we are mates if you don’t want, but I know your brothers already accepted their mates.”

No, no, it’s fine, Taylor. I’m fine with telling the pack that we are mates, and I’m fine with joining the pack,” says Izzy. “You’re gonna have to ask my brothers. I can’t speak for them.”

Let’s go ask your brothers.”

We go back into the conference room and explain everything to everyone. We ask my brothers about joining the pack, and they all agreed.

Izzy’s POV

Grandma, I have a question for you? What’s that, sweetheart?

How come my brothers and I never smelled like rogues? Lily laughed. “That’s because of our royal bloodline, but that’s a story for another day.”

Royal bloodline?” says my brothers all at the same time. Lily smiles. “Like I said, that story’s for another time.”

Taylor’s POV

Besides, we have a lot going on! says grandma.

Good point, says Taylor. We have to get to the mall, get you all clothes, then get to the meeting, and who knows what else will come up.

I would like to make you all pack members and introduce you and your mates to the pack members.

How many pack members do you actually have, asks Izzy? About ten thousand, give or take. Izzy’s mouth drops open. You’re kidding, right? Says Zack.

Taylor laughed. Have you ever really toured our pack lands? No, I haven’t had the chance to yet.

That’s why we have everything you need here in the pack. Our pack lands are basically a full city because there are so many of us.

Jarred and Abby have done a wonderful job managing the pack.

Abby’s POV

It’s easy, actually, says Abby. Taylor sets the rules; he treats everyone equally. There is no special treatment in our pack; he respects everyone equally. There’s no bullying of any form.

Our positions can be taken away at any time. We had to fight to get them. Every year, Taylor accepts challengers for our positions.

Taylor says it’s only right. He also accepts challengers for his own position. But no one has ever been stupid enough to challenge him.

Jarred and I got challenged for our first five years, but after that, they gave up.

Every year, Taylor throws it out there to all pack members if they want to challenge for our positions, says Abby.

I love this pack, and because of how Taylor is, we don’t take advantage of our members.

Izzy smiles at Taylor. No wonder they say you’re the Alpha of all Alphas.
