Chapter Forty

Izzy’s POV

It all seems so unreal. Now I have to actually sit down and explain it all to Taylor, ugh.

I don’t even know where to begin. I got a few ideas, say Shay. I’m sure you do, plus we already discussed that. And like I told you, we need to actually talk, Shay.

Well, it will be talking just in another way! Shay! Will you please get your head out of the gutter? My head is just fine where it’s at; it’s you that needs to loosen up.

I get it, Shay. I know I do, I know Izzy, and I got your back, but I just want more for you. Well, for us.

I understand, Shay, and I want it too. I’m just scared, is all.

I know, but they are not going to hurt us. They can actually help us.

Let’s talk first, Shay, and see how it goes. Okay? That’s fair.

I strip off my clothes and walk into the shower, turning on the water till it’s just right. I wash my hair and my body.

What if he doesn’t want us? What if he thinks I’m lying?

Stop, just stop it, Izzy. How do you know what could be if you don’t try?

I guess you’re right; it’s time to face him.

Turning off the water, I grab a fuzzy towel and wrap myself with it.

Dang it, I forgot my clothes trying to get away from Taylor again. Sure you did, laughs Shay.

I open the door, and Taylor was still sitting on the bed. He seems to be lost in thought.

I rush to the closet and grab something to put on. I put something on that his mom had picked out.

Here goes nothing, he’ll love it, stop worrying, replies Shay.

When I walk out of the closet, Taylor still doesn’t realize I’m there.

I reach out and touch his face, snapping him out of whatever he was thinking about.

Taylor, I know you want to complete the mating bond. I do too, but I’m scared. What if you decide you don’t want us? Or we are not good enough for you? Or?

Izzy, don’t you know by now that you’re all I have ever wanted? I have been looking for you since I was sixteen, and now that I have you, I will never let you go.

What if you change your mind? I won’t, and I never will. Ry wants you both just as much as I do. As he pulls me closer to him, I can see in his eyes that everything he’s saying are his true feelings.

Taylor’s POV

Izzy is the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. I just wished she could see herself the way I see her.

Give her time, she will, said Ry. I will give her all the time in the world she needs. I just hope you’re ready for a lot of cold showers, Taylor says chuckling.

It won’t be me that has the issues, I have, Shay.

It’s you that’s gonna be hard up. Ry grins.

I will handle it. Sure, you will, smirks Ry.

I guess I was so lost in thought I never heard Izzy come into the room. Until she touched my face.

I think we should get you a hearing aid chuckles Ry. Shut it flea bag!

Sighing, really Ry. You’re as bad as Jarred. That’s fine he annoys you just like I do Ry says laughing.

Sighing, Izzy I know you want to complete the mating bond. I do too, I’m scared just like you.

Everything you say I could say it back to you. What if you decide you don’t want us? Or we are not good enough for you?

It breaks my heart Izzy that you really think I would do that. Don’t you know by now that you’re all I have ever wanted?

I won’t, and I never will. Ry wants you both just as much as I do. That’s all I could say to reassure her of my and Ry’s feelings for them.

I pull her closer and slowly begin to kiss her on her face, her neck, and then her lips. The kisses were soft and slow.

I slowly began to deepen the kiss. We finally broke the kiss when neither of us could breathe.

It was incredible, and it kept getting better and better.

I was so surprised when Izzy took a step back from me and dropped her towel.

What she had on… OMG. I will have to thank my mom later.

Izzy finally told me how much she wanted me and for us to complete our mating bond.

“ Are you sure, my love? Yes, please, Taylor. I pulled her to me.

I promise to make this the most memorable night you have ever had.”

Izzy blushes, and I can smell her arousal. It was the most intoxicating scent. I felt like I was drowning in it.

I spent the evening cherishing her body in every way possible.

I never knew that making love would feel this good.

Izzy’s POV

I never have been with anyone before, and it just feels right with Taylor, so I took the chance.

It was the most amazing night of my life, and we both were finally marked and mated.

It was unbelievable. I have never felt like this about anyone before.

I can feel everything Taylor is feeling and everything he’s thinking. He was just as insecure as I was.

I can’t believe I am the only person he has ever been with.

It’s an amazing feeling. Knowing I am the only woman he has ever been intimate with.

I blush just thinking about all the things we did last night.

I could do that every night, and I would be the happiest woman on Earth.

You could, my love? Says Taylor. “ What? What we did last night, you want to do it every night? I can make that happen.”
