Working on a plan
We still have all the vans where we parked them all, says Michael.
What about some of the pack members using their own cars? Asks Mason. No, they might be traced. I didn’t think of that.
Michael, go check on the vans. Make sure they can’t be tracked.
Also, how many people can they hold?
Fifteenth if I remember right.
How many vans do we have? Twelve, so that would fit quite a bit of our pack.
Mason, send three of the warriors into the woods and see if they are searching for us, then send three to the airport and see if they are watching for us.
All of a sudden, Sally appears in front of me. She gave me a slight smile, then hugged me.
Is everyone okay? Yes, we managed to get everyone out, but they burnt everything down.
It didn’t seem like they were trying to kill us; they were more or less focused on the buildings themselves.
That’s odd. I don’t think so.
I think they want to see where we will go.
Alpha? Yes, Travis, what is it? They are searching the pack grounds for us.
Are you certain? Yes, Alpha, there are five of them. Check in with Davis and see if they are watching the airport.
Thanks, Travis, you guys come back now. Yes, Alpha, we are on our way. Sally, can you help us get them out?
Yes, Taylor said his pack is already waiting for you. Izzy is already setting things up for their arrival.
How many can you take? I can take thirty at a time, but I can only do it five times in one day.
That will work; take the children, women, and elderly first.
I walked back outside with Sally and explained everything to them.
I want all women, children, and elderly to go with Sally; she will tell you what is going to happen.
Michael, how many vans do we have? Twelve, Alpha, that works. The vans can’t be tracked, I already checked, replies Michael.
Great. I want you and Mason to take as many as you can in the vans. I know it will be a long drive, but we are going to need them.
Yes, Alpha. Mason, get with Michael, and you and him take as many pack members as you can in the vans.
My wife and children left with Sally already.
When everything was said and done, it left thirty of us.
Taylor’s POV
I can’t believe they burnt down his pack.
Cassius wants to see where they are going, says Vince.
The good thing was Tony was prepared for it.
Now we just need to figure out how to get them all here. I can help with that, replies Sally.
I can teleport some of them here like I did when we went to the castle, but I won’t be able to bring them all.
Fine, go do that while we prepare where we are putting everybody.
Izzy and Taylor’s POV
Jarred, call the hotel and find out how many rooms are available. Okay, Luna.
Abby and Devon see what cabins we have available here on the pack grounds.
Daisy, please go downstairs and ask the front desk how many rooms we have open in the pack house.
Daisy bowed her head and left the room.
Liam, check the warrior housing and see if they have any available.
I would like to use what we have here in the pack before I send them to hotels.
I will see if I can get your mom, mine, and my grandma to go shopping for them; they will need everything, says Izzy,
that’s a great idea! Taylor says giving me a light kiss on the lips.
I will go to my office and call them. Taylor chuckles; she still hasn’t gotten used to using the mind link yet.
They all agreed after I explained everything that happened; they said it might be easier to take a few at a time so they can pick out things for themselves. I had to agree.
Even Pete’s wife was going to go to help. Good thing it was early in the morning here.
My grandma, grandpa, and my uncle all came to help.
It was a busy day to say the least. Sally brought 150 of them.
I heard that Mason and Michael are driving here and should be here by tomorrow night.
They are bringing twelve vans full of pack members.
All that’s left is 30 that are still at Tony’s mother’s house.
Sally said she needed to rest and would go get them when she woke up.
Tony said they were fine; they wouldn’t be able to find them.
They all stayed in the house and were quiet. He asked if everyone was okay. They are fine; we are getting everyone settled.
He talked to Cassie apologizing for everything that happened. She told him it was not necessary; she knew it was not his fault.
Taylor told him no one could have predicted this. I know you’re right, but I should have been more prepared.
Tony, you were prepared; you saved all of your pack members. I know, but I didn’t save my pack.
Tony, you could have never predicted he would do this. Besides, what really mattered was you saved everyone. We can figure out the rest.
I know you’re right. I just… I know we will figure it all out. replies Taylor. For now, let’s get you guys out of there, and we can go from there.
Sally walked in a few hours later, saying she was going back for the rest.
Taylor was worried that she was pushing herself too hard. She said she only had to do it once more, and she would be fine.
I wasn’t going to argue with her, so I said I would be waiting here for her.
I brought Noah in, and he said he had tried talking her out of it, but she said it was Alpha Tony we were talking about.
She’ll be fine, said Izzy, have a little faith. I know my love, I’m just worried is all. We waited for about 15 minutes, then they all appeared right in front of us.
Noah caught Sally as she passed out. He picked her up and took off running to the pack hospital. Izzy went following after them.
Good to see you, Tony. I am just sorry it had to be under these circumstances.
Tony gives a half smile, like you said, Alpha, at least everyone is safe.
That’s all that really matters, Alpha. The rest can all be replaced.
Sighing, I would agree to that.
