Chapter seventy nine

The Meeting part two.

The meeting with the Alphas and betas went really well. We set up the basics; now it was time to hear from the packs and see if they had any ideas of their own.

The meeting lasted three hours. We took into consideration everyone’s concerns and input.

We also went over all safety precautions for the elderly, children, pregnant women, or anyone who couldn’t fight.

Between Sally and Izzy, they would come up with protection spells for all three packs, something that would tell us if anyone tried attacking any of our packs.

Or if anyone tried to gain access to our packs that didn’t belong there.

We also informed everyone we would be having an Alpha meeting next month at the hotel for alliances with other packs for the upcoming war.

Do not let your guard down with others that do not belong to one of our packs; anyone can be a traitor.

Izzy, with the help of Sally, already knew who would betray us from our packs.

Taylor wanted to know who Cassius was really working with, or who he was using to do his dirty work. That was the reason for the ball.

Taylor and Izzy had to get near the other Alphas to figure out who was good and who was bad, even though it was a risk; it was a risk we were willing to take.

We were counting on their betrayal. We had an ace up our sleeve; they just didn’t know it yet.

Cassius POV

Martin, where are we at on finding any of them? Did you get any information on Taylor’s Luna?

Boss, we still don’t have a location on any of them or his Luna; no one has met her.

She stays hidden on the pack lands; Alpha Taylor is working from his pack. We have not seen him leave the pack in months.

We are still looking into Taylor Diaz’s pack and company. We can’t even infiltrate his company or pack.

Nor will they tell us even if he’s there.

We even tried paying some of his employees off.

They all say the same thing. He enters through a different area. So they don’t know if he’s here or not. Even if they call upstairs, they only ever talk to his Beta.

His security system is top of the line. We couldn’t even break through his firewall.

So, so far, we haven’t found anything. His pack is secured, and unless you’re a pack member, you can’t get on his pack lands.

The way it looks, even his pack members don’t leave without escorts there and back.

You also have to have an appointment to access Diaz Corporation. You are escorted to your appointment and back; otherwise, you’re not getting in his company.

Not even other Alphas have been on his pack lands; they have only been to the banquet hall, and that is at the edge of his pack lands.

No other pack has ever seen the Blue Moon pack lands.

We tried getting on with deliveries, but even that doesn’t work.

They have a loading dock at the main gate where everything is dropped off there and gone through before it’s loaded and delivered by his own pack members.

We couldn’t even put listening devices on anything. We even tried getting someone to try to transfer to their pack, and that didn’t work either. Why is that?

They are not accepting new members unless you’re a mate to someone from his pack; that is the only way. They have someone in his pack that can tell if the mate bond is real or fake.

We did hear Alpha Taylor is going to throw a big holiday party next month; all the other packs are being invited, so that’s how we will get in.

All pack members from his pack will be present. Great, get with Alpha Knox and see if he got an invite to it.

Ask Alpha Rowen also; maybe we will get lucky. I can’t send you because of James and Pete and his family. If they are hiding there, they would recognize you immediately. So we are going to have to work with Knox or Rowen to achieve what we need.

On it, boss. Take Caesar with you. Right away, boss.

Boss, they both have been invited to the ball. Rowen said he can get you in, but it’s only to the ballroom, that’s where the party is being held.

That’s fine; that’s all I need; we can handle the rest ourselves.

Finally, this is what I’ve been waiting for. Alpha Taylor is finally letting his guard down. I just need to know if his Luna is who I’m looking for.

If she is, don’t worry, Alpha Taylor. You won’t have her for long. She belongs to me. You’re just an ant I can step on.

How dare Alpha Taylor think that he can keep what is mine? If I see Pete again, I will kill him for what he’s done.

All he had to do was keep her safe. I told him plenty of times not to let anything happen to her! Now look at the problems he has caused.

I am eventually going to have to go to war with Alpha Taylor’s pack to get back what belongs to me!

I will make them all wish they would have never met me!

Martins POV

Has the boss gone crazy? He’s been ranting for the last thirty minutes.

Should we go in and ask him what’s going on? asks Joe.

I laugh. “You go in there and ask the boss why he’s throwing a tantrum, and you let me know how that works out for you,” I grin.

I was just asking if we should do something,” says Joe.

What we need to do is go find something to do before he finds out we have all been listening to him.

I do not want to be the one he takes his anger out on when he finds out we all heard his tantrum.

So what do we do? I don’t know about you guys, but train sounds good right about now, as Martin runs out the door.
