Chapter nine

Izzy’s POV

Around nine, I heard a knock on the cabin door, and Liam opened the door, and it was Taylor.

I just wanted to know if you all were sleeping here at the pack house or going home?

Looking at Taylor, I told him, let’s go outside and talk.

We walked outside on the porch, and I shut the door behind us.

I looked at him for a few minutes before I began to speak. I just wanted to say thank you. You gave my family a chance. You gave my parents a chance at being real mates.

But that doesn’t excuse you not talking to me first and putting me on the spot earlier.

I know Izzy, and I’m so sorry for that. I never meant to hurt you, he sighed.

It won’t happen again, I promise. Please just give me a chance.

You gave my parents a chance, so you’ve earned a chance. But please talk to me before you do something like that again.

I promise.

Izzy, we need to talk about you and your brothers being rouges. I know why you became rouges, but we need to fix that. Even though you guys, for some reason, don’t smell like rouges.

I agree we do need to fix that.

Tony wants Sally to do what she did to you, to your father. Tony is hoping that it might show us what Malcolm’s end game might be or give us a clue to where we can find them.

That doesn’t sound like a bad idea, Taylor, but pull my father to the side and ask him first. Don’t do what happened to me.

That’s fine. We can ask him tomorrow morning together, if that’s okay with you.

Yes, that would be fine.

Now to my original question about what everyone wants to do. I’m not sure we will have to ask them.

Taylor grabs my hand and pulls me close to him. Will you stay with me?

I look up into his eyes, and I can’t deny him. Yes, I will stay with you. But it doesn’t mean we will do anything.

Taylor smiles a genuine smile, and it took my breath away. He lifts my chin and gives me a kiss. It was soft and sweet.

I so wanted more. But now was not the time, and I was not ready for the rest.

I think he knows that. He pulls away, and at that moment, I realized how much I needed him, to feel his warmth.

We walk back into the cabin and ask everyone what they wanted to do. They all agreed that they wanted to stay here; everyone would be staying at the pack house.

When we opened the door to go to the pack house, everyone was there. Abby, Alicia, Sara, even Jarred.

My brothers all left with their mates. Taylor, Jarred, and I took my grandparents and Uncle to the pack house and showed them where they would be sleeping.

I kissed my grandparents and Uncle good night, telling them I would see them in the morning.

Then we got in the elevator and dropped Jarred off on his floor, and we made our way to the Alpha floor.

When the elevator opened, it opened up into a hallway. There were more rooms down the hallway to the left, but that is for another time.

We went straight to a door in front of the elevator. Taylor opened the door, and it was one of those dream houses you see on television.

It was an open concept; it had the kitchen with an island and a giant pantry. One you dream about having if you’re a cook. The dining area is really spacious, as is the living area.

The couches were a light gray with a giant television on the wall, with two end tables, and big beanbag chairs on the floor so you could get comfortable and watch movies or play video games.

It had a few game systems too. My brothers would be over the moon for this set up.

On the right side of the living area, you see a hallway. We walk down the hallway, and there are six rooms altogether. Four rooms are completely empty. They have their own walk-in closets and full bathrooms.

The other room is Luna’s room for her to relax; it’s like a man cave but for the Luna. I had to laugh.

I look at Taylor and ask, “What if we made it into like a study that way? When we didn’t want to go to the office, we could work here?” He had a huge smile on his face; anything my Luna wants.

The last room was Taylor’s; it was gorgeous, but you could tell it was a man’s room. Everything was clean, but it was a dark room. It did have a balcony that had comfy chairs and a table.

The view was stunning . You could see almost all of the pack lands. You could even see the cabin where my parents were.

I want you to make this room anyway you want it. I want it to be our room.

Are you sure? Yes, I have waited too many years for this not to be ours. This whole floor is for you to make how you want it. My parents never lived here.

We lived in the house behind the pack house. From this room, you could see a beautiful two-story house. We can stay here or there.

Both are mine. I can show it to you later. And your parents? They live behind the gated fences you saw earlier when we drove in. Oh.

I turn around and look at him with tears in my eyes; no one has ever done anything like this for me. You are my Luna, my mate; anything I have is yours. I am yours, Izzy.

I reach up and cup his face and pull him down for a kiss. At first, it was soft and gentle, then you could feel Taylor’s need as he bit my bottom lip, making me gasp as his tongue slips into my mouth.

We play battle of the tongues, and of course, he won. Not before long, we were both breathless and pulled apart.

Izzy, there’s something I need you to know.

I look up at him, and he’s so nervous.

Ummm, I’ve never been with anyone before. You are my first kiss. My first everything. I look up at him stunned.

I could feel you since I was sixteen, and it didn’t feel right sleeping with someone else. I have never wanted anyone besides you.

Jarred even calls me Saint Taylor for waiting. It just never felt right with someone else touching me.

Taylor, that’s perfectly fine with me. Just means I don’t have to deal with any exes. I chuckle, and Taylor just grins at me.

But you also are my first too for everything. I say blushing at the words I’m confessing.

After Pete did what he did, I threw myself into my studies to catch up with Liam. I have always wanted to be a pediatrician for children. And I’m hoping I can still do that being your mate and Luna.

I don’t want you to stop doing what you love. That’s what Abby is for. She is your protector and your right hand. And now that Abby has Devin, he also will be with you. Gammas watch over the Luna.

I know this is your last year of studies, and I was hoping that maybe you could finish everything here at the hospital on our pack lands. And even do your residency here.

My office for the Diaz corporation is in the city. And I spend a lot of time there. After your residency, you could open an office there.

And work in the city a few days while doing the rest here on the pack lands.

I was going to ask Liam if he wanted to do the same. The office in the city can have a rotation of all our doctors here at the hospital. So it would be open seven days a week to help anyone that needs it.

And you can recruit others also. We have plenty of nurses too that can help.

I look up at Taylor in amazement. To what he just offered. We can do so much with what he’s offering.

But I can’t speak for Liam, but I love the idea.

I have only one request. That on the weekends we don’t work. Or at least Sundays. But I would prefer the weekends.

We can talk about that after my schooling and residency.

Agreed, Taylor pulls me close. And kisses me on the cheek. How about a shower?

What about clothes? I can give you a T-shirt and a pair of my boxers for tonight, and I will have someone go and grab some of your clothes for tomorrow.

That sounds great. We both take a shower, and I’m exhausted. Taylor’s scent is like a pillow to me, and I fall into a restful sleep.

I wake up to Taylor spooning me. I’m amazed at how perfectly I fit with him. I have to giggle. I can feel his morning woodie, which makes me blush.

Taylor just chuckles. “ I can see you met my friend,” he jokes. I blush even more.

I can smell you, my mate,” and if you don’t want me to take you right here and now, then you better stop.

My face turns a deep red, and I pull out of his arms and run to the bathroom, locking it behind me. I can hear Taylor laughing.

I take a shower, brush my teeth, and I found a hairbrush and start to brush my hair out.

I opened the door, and there stood the goddess himself, only in a pair of sweats that rode low on his hips.

I couldn’t take my eyes off the goddess that stood in front of me. Shay was drooling, showing me pictures of what we could do to him.

I just blush, and Taylor bent down and whispered in my ear, “ I can smell you, mate. Everything you see is yours for the taking. No need to ask. I will happily oblige.”

I turn a deep shade of red. Taylor, stop that. Smacking him on the chest, he laughs, kissing me on the cheek, and walks into the bathroom to take a shower.

He doesn’t even close the door. He just drops his pants and walks into the shower. I have to keep myself from drooling.

Dam, goddess,” I chuckle. As promised, some of my clothes were on the bed when I went into the room.

I put on a pair of skinny blue jeans, a pink blouse, and a pair of slip-on sandals.

Me and Liam and I both requested a week of personal leave due to everything that had happened. They weren’t happy about it, but they gave it to us.

While Taylor was taking a shower, I went into the kitchen and started making breakfast.

The door opens, and there are all my brothers with their mates, with my grandparents, Uncle, and Tony. And of course, Jarred. We couldn’t dare leave him out.

We were just coming to see if you wanted to go down to breakfast, says Liam. I already started breakfast. But you’re more than welcome to stay here and eat. Everyone agreed, and you could see on my brother’s faces they were relieved to eat here.

Alicia, Sara, my grandma, and Abby all came to help me in the kitchen. Alicia and Sara both asked me if I could teach them how to cook.

Abby, who was pretty good at it, said she wouldn’t mind the help too. My grandma just smiled.

Sure, we will make time for it. We made eggs, sausage, bacon, fruit, chocolate chip pancakes, ham, and French toast, my favorite. My grandma made fresh orange juice. I put out the plates and told everyone to help themselves.

Taylor walks out of the bedroom dressed in a black suit and red tie. With a pair of black shiny shoes. He looks great. Eye candy, as Shay puts it.

I just have to shake my head at Shay; she has no filter. Come on, Izzy, you know you wanna ride him.

I blush a deep red. And Taylor just chuckles. Everyone stared at us wondering what had just happened.

I just started fixing Taylor’s plate and handed it to him. Thanks, my love, giving me a kiss on the cheek and sitting down next to me at the table.

Do you want coffee, Tay? Yes, please, as he gives me a heartwarming smile, making me go weak in the knees. My knees buckle, but

Taylor manages to catch me, careful, my love, I don’t need you hurting yourself, he said with a grin.

Jerk, I grin back. He just chuckles, and I walk over to grab his cup of coffee, cursing at him and his ego, which only made him laugh harder.

That man! I walk over and hand him his coffee, and he has this big goofy grin on his face that I just want to smack it off.

You mean kiss it off, says Shay. Shay, you’re just as bad as him. Go lay down, you horny wolf. Blocking her out. I can still hear her laughing.

After we eat and clean up, we all go to the meeting rooms on the fifth floor.

When we get there, everyone else was there, even my parents.

Izzy, can I talk to you in my office for a minute? Sure, lead the way. We went out of the conference room and went two doors down.

He opened the door, and my mouth fell open. His office was huge.

He has a mahogany desk that sits in the middle of the room, couches on both sides, and two comfy chairs on the other side of his desk. And the view from his office is something you only see in pictures.

My love, I have a business meeting at three pm hence the suit. I tried to get out of it, but this is the only time he has free, so it’s either today or not at all.

But it’s beneficial to what we talked about last night after you finish your schooling and your residency.

But he might have a better idea about how to do your residency.

I was hoping that maybe you would like to go. If you agree, Abby and Devin will be going too. I wanted you to talk to Liam and see if he is willing to go and hear him out.

Sure, I will go, but Taylor, I don’t have clothes for meetings.

Well, you see, that’s where my mom comes in. We can all go shopping for what everybody needs. Including your parents and grandparents.

Are you sure, Taylor? Yes, I am. I jump into Taylor’s arms, thank you, thank you. Well, let’s go talk to the family.

Wait, one more thing, I would like to introduce you to the pack and make you and your brothers members of the pack this morning before we go to the mall.

We don’t have to tell them we are mates if you don’t want, but I know your brothers already accepted their mates.

No, no, it’s fine, Taylor. I’m fine with that. Let’s go ask my brothers .

We go back into the conference room and explain everything to everyone. We ask my brothers about joining the pack and they all agree.

Jarred announces a mandatory meeting in fifteen minutes in front of the pack house. Yes, Alpha, Jarred and Abby leave to go get things ready. Taylor then pulls my father, Tony, and Sally into another room and asks him if he would be willing to let Sally show everyone his memories.

He said yes right away, if it would help he was more than willing. With everything else going on, we would have to do it tomorrow.

Liam was thrilled with what Taylor was offering. He didn’t like the idea of being far away from Sara. So he was onboard right away.

My uncle Tomas walked over and gave me a kiss on my forehead and told me I had done well. I just smiled up at my uncle; no words were needed.

My uncle walks over and starts talking to Tony and my brothers before they all walk over and introduce Tony to me.

Alpha, it’s a pleasure to finally meet the man that my brothers looked up to.

He smiled, now I see why your brothers love you so much. You’re kind even after everything you went through.

It’s a pleasure to meet you, Izzy. And please just call me Tony.

I’m sorry we had to have met under these circumstances, but I am glad we got the chance to meet.

He looked at all of us and said you’re more than welcome to come back to the pack at any time.

I kissed him on the cheek, thank you, but my place is here in Los Angeles with my mate.

My brothers all agreed our mates are here. And we want to stay here. Plus, our parents and grandparents are here also.

Well, I hope we can keep in touch.

That would be great.

Tony, if you still need help with the stock market, I would still be glad to help, says Liam.

Tony has a big smile on his face. That would be great, I was hoping you still would.

I’m here for a couple more days; maybe we can all have lunch or something.

How about we have a party here at the pack you can send for your wife and kids Say’s Taylor.

Thomas I heard you have a son and daughter. I know your pack is close maybe your family and some of your pack would like to come? Asks Taylor.

We can have it here at the pack house, if everyone is willing.

I would love that say’s Tony would you mind if my Beta comes?

No not at all Mason is welcome here anytime. We can have the party this weekend after I can fly you and your family back home.

I can send my plane to pick them up today if that’s ok with you? That would be great. Let me call them now.

Thomas what about you?

I would love that i will let my pack know. if we can help with anything at all let us know.

No I got it but you can bring what ever you like we can never have to much.

That’s great let me call my Luna and beta to set it up, also while you guys are shopping I will go back to my pack and take care of a few things.

That’s great Thomas I will let the front gate know your leaving and will be back later tonight.

Just then the door opens and a beautiful woman walks In she is so graceful and regal. She has long brown hair and green eyes. The man followed right behind her seems just as regal, Taylor is the splitting image of him. Alicia looks just like the woman but with her father’s eyes.

Izzy I want you to meet my mother Ava and my father Lucas.

Ava looked at me for a few minutes before she has a big smile on her face and brought me into a big hug. We have waited so long for Taylor to find you and you are just adorable.

Mom let go your gonna break her. Nonsense Taylor. Then Lucas walks over and gives me a warm gentle hug,

welcome to the family. I can’t help but smile. Family, me and my brothers finally have family.

Lucas good to see you Zack say’s Zack your still coming for dinner tonight? Say Ava. Izzy your also invited. If Taylor doesn’t want to come then come with Zack and Alicia. Mom!!

She just waves her hand at Taylor and continues to talk.

Oh and where is Janie and James? My parents walk forward and Ava walks over to them with a smile on her face.

Welcome to the family she says hugging Janie and smiling at James . Lucas walks over, yes welcome to the family holding out his hand. My father takes it with a big smile on his face.

Thank you Lucas. Or Alpha. No Lucas is just fine Taylor is the Alpha now and has been since he was eighteen and I’m so proud of him he’s a good man.

Yes I agree say’s James he’s a very good man. Taylor introduces my grandparents and my other two brothers. Then Tony and My Uncle. ,

before you know it we are all invited for dinner tonight at their house. My uncle is bringing my two cousins too.

This should be great. A big family dinner.

Taylor’s POV

I walk over to my mate that is talking with my mom I’m glad to see they get along so well. My love it’s time everyone is waiting for us. Then we will all head to the mall.

We all met in front of the pack house, I didn’t know you had so many pack members.

This is not all of them we have almost ten thousand. My mouth drops. You will be fine Izzy I promise.

I clear my throat and everyone quiets down.

Good morning everyone we are here this morning to make a couple of announcements and to introduce you to a few new members we will be adding this morning.

First I like you to know your Gamma Abby has found her mate and he will become your new Gamma his name is Devin Gomez. Second my sister Alicia has found her mate , Zack Gomez.

Third Sara the sister of your beta found her mate, Liam Gomez who will also be working in our hospital.

Lastly I would like to introduce my mate and your new Luna Izzy Gomez. Everyone started clapping cheering and whistling.

So now let’s add our new pack members.

It took about fifteen minutes to complete the whole ceremony to become members of Blue Moon Pack.

We can now mind link with them all. Everyone was happy for us. Congratulating us. Everyone seems so kind. I can’t wait to get to know them better.

Taylor clears his throat and everyone quiets down again.

Yes we will still be doing the Luna ceremony. We will let you know when we set a date.

This weekend we will be having a celebration of sorts for you to get to know our new members better, Alpha Tony and his family will be here along with Izzy, Devin, Zack, Liam’s and the rest of their family, also joining will be Alpha Thomas’s Pack which is also their Uncle. Please treat them with respect.
