Chapter sixty six

1113 Words
Taylor’s POV We ended up watching the Covenant over The Exorcist. Which was fine since it was a good movie, plus it had a lot of action. The event was a success; even the omegas were happy with the outcome, and they praised our Luna for covering everything. We all stayed around cleaning up and putting everything back. I was surprised that every pack member helped; we were done in like twenty minutes. The adults picked up their kids, and the teens cleaned the movie theater back up. To say I was surprised was putting it mildly. Taylor? Yes, baby girl? I would like to do this more often for the pack; we could change the themes, maybe a cookout or a challenge on who can make the best dessert or something. The winner gets a vacation for their family or something. Everyone can participate, even the omegas. Why don’t we call a meeting tomorrow and get everyone’s input? I would love that. Izzy’s and Taylor’s POV Taylor kept his promise. The next morning, we had a meeting about doing more things for the pack. We decided to do something monthly and let the pack have a say in what they wanted to do. Instead of us always deciding for them. Izzy decided she wanted to do something special for the teens that watched the kids. We all decided we were going to set up a pool party for the teens the following weekend at the hotel so all their friends could come, human or not. We wanted them to enjoy themselves so we decided we would close the hotel for the weekend for this event. We closed the one that had access to our pack. We had nothing going on at either the banquet hall or the ballroom. For anyone that had reservations on that weekend, we moved them to the hotels across the street. Which worked out perfectly. We invited the teens from Izzy’s uncles’ pack; Izzy reached out to Tony’s pack to see if any of the teens there wanted to come. We would fly them out Friday after school. Tony was excited and said he would let the pack know. We set up special events and all sorts of things for them to do. Izzy said she didn’t want any excuses; they had nothing to do. We all laughed because we all could hear them now; it was so boring I had absolutely nothing to do! Izzy with the kitchen staff worked out special menus for them. It covered everything. Even special dishes if you were allergic to something. We made sure the restaurant would be open twenty-four hours for the occasion. Izzy brought in more staff for the occasion. Tony sent 25 from his pack; her Uncle Thomas sent 37 from his pack. 453 from our pack. So basically no one really needed to share a room. “ Hello everyone,” says Taylor. “Thank you all for coming, and we are honored to have the visiting packs here also with us today.” Here are the rules: no drugs or alcohol, no fighting or making fun of anyone else. There will be absolutely no weapons. Do me a favor, laugh, Taylor, if you know it’s wrong; it probably is wrong, so just don’t do it. Everyone started to laugh. Break the rules, and you get to answer to me. When I bring your parents in, you get to explain why you’re all talking to me, Taylor grins. The restaurant will be open twenty-four hours. If you’re hungry, go eat; everything is on me. “Manners Please” Please be on your best behavior; treat the staff with respect. There will be no adults here to supervise you; we trust you to make the right decisions. The guards are here for your protection; they are not your babysitters! Remember that. Do not destroy the rooms or the property. We are trusting you; have fun, and my Luna and I will check in on you periodically. In your room, there are lists of activities and events that we are offering. We made some gift bags for you all; you will get them at the receptionist desk when you pick up your key to your room. Please be respectful of others. If you make your way to the front desk, they will assist you in getting your room key and your gift bag. Checkout will be Sunday at noon. For those that are from Alpha Tony’s pack. We will pick you up out front at noon to get you back home. Those from Alpha Thomas’s pack, he will meet you out front on Sunday at noon. Those from my pack, well, you know how to get home. There will be vans for those who don’t have rides. Please do not leave the hotel without permission! Have fun. They all started cheering and took off to the front desk. Izzy put her hand in mine, and we left the rest to Devon and his team. I told them they are not there to babysit but to make sure they are safe. if they have any problems, to get a hold of me right away. None of them are to leave without permission. So make sure all exits are covered. The weekend went great. The kids had a great time, and they loved their Luna for doing something so special for them. Of course, we had a few minor issues, but nothing big. The weekend was a great success. We didn’t even have issues with anyone trying to leave, which was surprising, my Luna had thought of everything. She had set up so many different activities that everyone had joined in. Plus, they did have some great prizes for winning. The staff said they had no issues with them at all; they actually had a lot of fun. Anyone who worked that weekend got a great bonus. My Luna didn’t overlook anything. She even made sure the other hotels that took all the reservations that we moved over to them got bonuses too. Maybe we could set more things like this up for them. Showing our appreciation to them. If we put it on the books then we wouldn’t have to move customers. That’s a great ideal we will have a black out day for those weekend. The teens from Tony’s and Thomas’s pack said they had a great time and would love to do it again. I’m so proud of my Luna. We worked out a schedule every month to do something for everyone. We all got back to our busy schedules on Monday. Between work and training, it was hectic.
