Chapter thirty

Taylor’s POV

I walk over to my mate that is talking with my mom. I’m glad to see they get along so well. My love, it’s time everyone is waiting for us.

After we will all head to the mall .

Izzy’s POV

We all met in front of the pack house. My mouth drops open in disbelief. “I didn’t believe you when you said you had that many pack members.”

“I told you I had over ten thousand.”This isn’t even all of them. Some are at work, says Taylor.

I blank stare at Taylor and he just laughs. “You will be fine, Izzy. I promise.”

Taylor’s POV

I clear my throat, and everyone quiets down.

Good morning, everyone. We are here this morning to make a couple of announcements and introduce you to a few new members we will be adding this morning.”

First, I like you to know your Gamma, Abby, has found her mate, and he will become your new Gamma.

His name is Devin Gomez. Second, my sister Alicia has found her mate , Zack Gomez.

Third, Sara, the sister of your beta, found her mate, Liam Gomez, who will also be working in our pack hospital.

Lastly, I would like to introduce my mate, your new Luna, Izzy Gomez. Everyone started clapping, cheering, and whistling.

So now let’s add our new pack members.

Izzy’s POV

It took about fifteen minutes to complete the ceremony to become members of the Blue Moon Pack.

We can now mind link with them all. Everyone was happy for us. Congratulating us. Everyone seems so kind. I can’t wait to get to know them better.

Taylor clears his throat, and everyone quiets down again.

Taylor’s POV

Yes, we will still be doing the Luna ceremony. We will let you know when we set a date.

This weekend, we will be having a celebration of sorts for you all so you will be able to get to know our new members better.

Alpha Tony and his family will be here along with Izzy, Devin, Zack, Liam, and the rest of their family.

Also joining will be Alpha Thomas’s Pack, which is also their uncle. Please treat them with respect.

Alpha, you have never let other Alphas on our pack lands before, so why are you deciding to let two other Alphas on our lands now?

I have always been honest with you, and I have no reason to change that now.

Most of you know my story of how I have felt my mate since I was sixteen. You’re all aware of the reason why I have never taken a chosen mate or been with someone else. You also know I have traveled the world looking for her.

Most nodded their heads, or you heard “ yes” through the crowd.

Without going through details to be fair to your Luna, that is her story to tell if she ever chooses to tell it. I will respect her decision either way.

First is Alpha Antonio Reeves of the Red Moon Pack, which we all call Alpha Tony. He is the Alpha where your Luna and her family came from.

That’s where they all grew up.

When he started to have rogue attacks, we eventually found out that they are looking for our Luna and her family. Alpha Tony, knowing that, is choosing to protect them instead of just turning them over.

Izzy’s POV

You could hear the shouts of anger, no one was going to hurt their Luna or her family.

They don’t even know anything about me or my family, yet they defended me without even questioning it. I say to myself, sighing, “Is this what loyalty feels like?”

Tears welled up in my eyes. They are choosing me without even knowing me. Taylor walks over, pulling me into his arms.

No words were necessary as everyone began shouting “ Luna” and bowing their heads in respect. It was overwhelming.

Taylor’s POV

So I hope that all of you will treat Alpha Tony and his Luna Cassandra and their children with the respect that our pack has always shown to others.

Everyone started clapping and shouting “ Luna,” “ Luna.”

I raised my hand, and everyone went silent once again.

The other pack is the Silver Moon Pack. It is your Lunas and her brother’s family. Alpha Thomas Hart is her uncle, her grandparents and cousins are from Alpha Thomas’s pack.

They are people you have already met over the last few days, like grandma Lily and grandpa Richard.

Some shook their heads while others said yes.

I’m sure some of you ran into Alpha Thomas already, and you just didn’t know it. Just because we are Alphas doesn’t mean you all should not be treated equally.

Izzy’s POV

You could hear the shouts through the crowds, not one of them was negative. They all seemed to be accepting of Taylor’s decision to let two other Alphas on their pack lands.

They didn’t even know us but they accepted Taylor’s decision without even questioning it.

Taylor quieted it back down one last time to find out if there were any more questions. There were a few but it was all about the party and what they could bring.

Taylor said he had it covered, but if they really just wanted to bring something they were more than welcomed to bring it.

I never understood the value of a pack till I saw Taylor’s pack, they accepted me without questions or actually knowing anything about me.

They truly trusted their Alpha and his judgment. You could see the love they had not only for Taylor but also for Taylor’s ranking officers and his family.

Instead of me walking back inside, I walked towards the crowd, shaking hands with a few of them, just talking with them. Taylor chuckled and walked down by me.

My brothers and their mates all did the same.

Even though we had a busy day, I felt this was what we needed to do. It just felt right.

Taylor eventually mind-linked them all, telling me that we needed to go and that would have plenty of time to get to know us at the party along with the other Alphas and their families.
