Felix was seen in the living room, intensely searching and turning over the test books on the table in front of him, probably looking for some crucial information. His phone tablet was clutched in his hand, scrolling through some unsolved questions on it. He muttered to himself, "Why is this so hard?" as he tried to solve the question and failed over and over again. His frustration grew, and he shouted, "This is frustrating!" as he slammed his phone tablet on the table and walked toward the refrigerator to get himself some milk.
His brother, Elves, entered the room and asked, "What's making our little small i***t stressed?"
Felix replied defensively, "I'm not an idiot." Elves inquired, "What's wrong?" as he turned over the book on the desk.
Felix explained, "I saw some posters on the street about the 'genius solve and earn,' so I decided to give it a try. But I haven't solved any yet." Elves asked, "Let me see," as he sat on the chair. Suddenly, he shouted, acting surprised, "Woo!"
Felix asked, "What... what happened?" Elves replied, "Almost all the questions here have been solved." Felix was stunned, "What do you mean?" as he dropped the cup of milk he was drinking and walked toward his brother. Elves said, "Let me see," as he took the phone tablet from him. "Looks like someone already solved the question. Look, it was solved three minutes ago," pointing at the tablet.
Felix was bewildered, "How is that possible? I have been trying since morning. How is this possible?" he kept asking himself. Elves taunted, "I guess I will be winning. "Just remember to keep the part of the promise. Remember, everything will be mine," Elves said as he tapped his shoulder and then left for the kitchen.
As Elves walked away, Felix called out, "Hey, wait! Do you think it's someone from school?" Elves turned around, with a mocking smile "Maybe, maybe not. Felix's eyes narrowed, "I need to find that person. I can't lose to you.
You are already loosing. Elves shouted.
Let see then He thought as he park the book on the table.
Finally done, Ozy exclaimed,
stretching out her hands in relief as she gazed at the notification on her phone. At least I got some cash for the week, she thought, feeling a temporary sense of financial security. But her mind quickly shifted to her pressing to her try out list. I need to go change now, she told herself, probably stressed.
As she hastily changed her clothes, her mind wandered to the dessert and food she needed to try out forst. She rushed downstairs, her feet clattering on the stairs, only to be greeted by her parents in the living room. "Mum, good afternoon," she said, forcing a smile onto her face, but it slowly disappeared as she sensed her piercing gaze.
Her mum's eyes narrowed. "And where are you heading to?" Ozy hesitated, standing still with her face downcast. "I just wanted to get some things down the street," she replied, trying to sound nonchalant.
Her mum exchanged a skeptical glance with her dad. "Babe, you can ask her, she's right here. Ask her if you think I'm not telling the truth," her mum said, her voice firm but concerned.
Ozy's dad cleared his throat. "Ozy is it true that you need hundred thousand for textbooks and fifty for your snacks?" His eyes bore into hers, searching for any hint of deception.
Ozy's heart skipped a beat. She first turned to her mum, who was watching her with an unreadable expression, then quickly shifted her gaze to her dad. "Ye... yes," she stammered, trying to sound convincing.
Her dad's expression softened. "It's okay, you don't have to worry. I will transfer the money to your mum. Do you need anything else?"
"No," Ozy replied firmly, trying to sound confident. "I just want to go get some things down the street." She fidgeted with her hands, avoiding eye contact with her parents.
Her dad's expression turned concerned. "Oh, why not ask Matthew, our driver, to take you to wherever place you're going? It's dangerous these days, especially for a young girl like you." He leaned forward, his eyes pleading with her to reconsider.
Ozy shook her head, feeling a surge of independence. "No, dad, I'm okay. It's just down here. I'll be back soon." She tried to sound reassuring, but her voice trembled slightly.
Her mum intervened, placing a gentle hand on her dad's arm. "Babe, just let her go. She's not a kid anymore. She needs to learn to take care of herself." Her voice was soft but firm.
Her dad hesitated, then nodded reluctantly. "If you say so, but be careful and stay out of trouble." He stood up, his eyes lingering on Ozy's face. "And don't forget to keep your phone close. We can't afford to lose you."
Ozy nodded hastily, feeling a mix of relief and guilt. "Yes, dad, I will." She quickly turned and left the house, the door closing behind her with a soft click.
As she stepped out into the bright sunlight, Ozy felt a sense of freedom wash over her. She took a deep breath, feeling the warm air fill her lungs, and began her walk down the street.
Where should I go first. She thought.
Mm, let me buy food first I'm starving as told herself touching her stomach.
Back in Ozys house.
Of course I will. Ozy mum said to the person at the other end of the phone.

She then hung up the phone.
Alex she called out.
Mum you called she replied. Walking toward her.

I will.
Then Go back to what you were doing.
