We arrive at Hunter’s house without incident. His parents were waiting in the doorway when we pulled up and it made me smile. We got out of the car and made our way up the sidewalk when a car pulled up rather quickly. I couldn’t help but scream which made Hunter pull me behind him in a protective stance. Hunter’s sister jumps out of the car without a care in the world and waves to her friends. She turns around and notices the cops and her family standing outside.
“What happened?” She asks.
“Jesus Hailee you gave everyone a heart attack that’s what. Who was that driving? None of your friends have a license,” Mrs. Wilde says with her hands on her hips.
“Chill mom it was just Ricky,” she says. “Addy’s older brother. He got his license last week and their mom asked him to drop me off.”
