“I said I was sorry. How many times do I have to apologize?” Chris asks.
“Until you let me sleep,” I say to her.
“Well then I’m going to be apologizing until the sun goes down because you know I can’t stop talking while the sun is up,” she says.
“Can you get the doctor to sedate her?” I ask Ava.
“No can do girl. We have to get going and pack for our trip home. We’re not too far from you so we have to get together when we’re all stateside,” Sasha says.
“You got it,” I say.
“Promise?” Ava says. “New Haven isn’t that far from you. I’m sure we can find you a hot Yale man to spend your time with.”
“Oh yes. Adam will just love that,” I laugh. “I promise we’ll get together. I will call you when I get back home.”
