I come out and he’s folding down the blanket on the bed.
“We’ll have to share the bed. Mom is redecorating the guest room and there are boxes everywhere. I’d offer you my sister’s bed but she locks the door when she goes over to her friend’s house,” he says.
“I don’t mind,” I tell him.
Hunter’s cheeks turn pink and he can’t seem to look me in the eyes.
I climb into the bed and lay down flat on my back. Hunter gets in and lays on his side facing me.
“Diana can I ask you something?” He says.
“Was that the question?” I ask back. I turn on my side to face him. “What’s up Hunter?”
He looks nervous and I have a feeling it’s because of what happened between us in the shower. I’m afraid I don’t want to hear what he says next but I don’t stop him.
