Chapter 48We have dinner at Michel's new restaurant. It looks much different without the noise and bustle of the previous evening and I really enjoy the superb meal in the beautiful surroundings. The restaurant is busy, in fact, Michel tells us it is fully booked for the next six weeks, but he's kept this table free for our use. I'm flattered, particularly when I see the menu and realise it would have cost us at least sixty pounds each to eat here and that's without the wine. When we are near the end of our meal, a short, red-haired woman dressed all in black approaches the table. She is rail thin and carries a gold coloured handbag that's almost the same size as she is.
