Chapter 21I do a bit of digging but I can find nothing on Raul. Then on Tuesday I try a different tactic. I search the file on Veronique Boullier and there is mention of a Raul Armin. Two years ago, she made a complaint that he'd beaten her, but when he was brought in for questioning she refused to speak against him. When I pull his file up on the computer there's more of the same, many complaints but no charges. When the time came, nobody was prepared to give evidence against him.
Raul Armin was born in Algeria but his father is French and his mother is Spanish, his last known address is in La Jonquera, which is just over the border in Spain.
