CHAPTER 2: The Genius

Alexa's POV
We are at our locker I'm waiting for them to pack their things. Since the battle happened between me and my professor, we didn't bother to attend that class anymore and he might get fired because of it.
"Let's go, guys!" Jake said while zipping his bag.
"Where?" I asked
"To hang out or something"
"I can't, I have work."
"You have a job? Where?" Jason asked.
"A part-time job, at Star Cafe about a few blocks from here."
"We can just hang out next time guys. We also have assignments and activities" Sam said.
"Okay, let's plan it next time," Jake said and we leave the building. "Alexa do you need a ride?"
"No, I can just walk."
"Nope you can't, you are going to ride with us and you too Sam," Jason said and he opened the car door. "No buts Lex" I sighed.
"Guys you can go ahead, my Dad is going to fetch me." Sam said and she waved her hands.
"Okay, see you tomorrow!" Jake and Jason said in sync.
Jake and Jason dropped me off at the cafe.
I have 3 part-time jobs and it's been 2 weeks since I started working here in Star Cafe. To be honest, it's hard being poor but I can endure it.
I put my things in my locker. We don't have a uniform here so I'm wearing my hoodie and my eyeglasses since I have poor eyesight but even we don't have a uniform we need to wear an apron and a hat. I'm the one cashier and I'm started getting their orders.
"Alexa, you good?" Jade my colleague and a friend.
"Yeah, about you?" We are preparing the order now.
"Same as you." She heaves a sigh.
"What's with the sigh?"
"It sucks being single." She said dramatically and I laughed.
"HaHaHa For real? That is your problem?" She slapped my arm and I put my arms on her shoulders. "Look around, all the customers here are admiring us that's why they are here."
"How did you know?" She looked around and some girls waved their hands.
"There is a lot of cafes here in Seoul but they choose to buy a coffee here. They always coming if we are on shift. It's not a coincidence, they even secretly took a picture of us. If you want to have a girlfriend or boyfriend, you just need to catch a fish at the sea."
"It's not that easy Lex."
"No, it's not, don't look down on yourself. You are a good catch actually."
"Really? Don't tell me I'm your type." She wiggled her eyebrows.
"Yuck! We are incest if I like you and you know I don't get attracted to anyone."
"Yeah, it's disgusting." She served the orders. I'm just standing at the cashier when the door suddenly open
"Good Day! Welcome to Star Cafe! What is your order?" I smile at her widely and she smiled back.
"I want an iced coffee"
"Anything else?"
"That's it."
"That will be 3500 won (2$)" She gave me her black card, rich kid. "You can sit first and we will be serving your drinks."
"Okay thanks." She sits beside the glass. I started making her coffee and Jade is now the one who accepted the orders.
"Here is your coffee, Enjoy!" I served the iced coffee and I was about to walk away but she called me.
"Wait!"
"Yes? Is there something wrong with the coffee?" She shakes her head "So what's the problem?
"Can I talk to you?"
"Oh! I'm sorry I can't my boss might fire me."
"You don't have to worry, I can buy this I just badly needed to talk to you."
Pssh, show off.
"Ms-" she cut me off
"Chelsea, Chelsea Halston" She introduced herself.
"Ms. Halston I don't care if you can buy this cafe. It's still my shift so I need to work, it's my job, and it's my responsibility as an employee." I bowed.
"Okay fine, I'm sorry if I sounded arrogant I just really need to talk to you. Let's talk after your shift please." She pleaded and I heave a sigh.
"Fine, you stay here and my shift will end in 15 minutes" I walked away and I got back to the cashier.
"You know her?" Jade asked and I shake my head "Don't tell me she is one of your admirers."
"I don't know, she is rich actually."
I think I saw her before. She look familiar.
"Maybe she wants you to be her sugar baby" I looked at her and I smacked her head "Ow! What? It might be the reason cause she is rich and also she said she badly needed to talk to you."
"You are being crazy Jade. It's the end of my shift now. Bye!" I waved my hands to her. I sat in front of Chelsea Halston and she looked at me. "What do you want to talk about?"
"You can't remember me?" Okay, who the is she? For as long as I remember I don't have debts. It's a big x also if she became my ex-girlfriend cause I'm single my whole life and I haven't attracted to anyone. So, who is she?
"It will be incest if I became your ex-girlfriend" She stated, did I said that loud? "You whispered actually."
"Hey! Don't eavesdrop."
"I just accidentally heard it, Sorry not sorry."
"Don't tell me you are my long-lost sister?"
"Nope."
"Then why did you say we be incest?"
"Because we are both tops and we see each other as a sister."
"Okay? For real who are you?"
"Aishh, you can't remember me" She sighed "It's me Seah (pronounce as Seyah), the girl visiting the orphanage 10 years ago"
Oh jesus! I forgot, she is my partner in crime.
"Blair unnie?!?!?!" I raised my voice and I stand up.
"Yes, its me Poopoo" I hugged her and she reciprocated it. "Thankfully, you remember me".
"I'm sorry Seah, I'm not good memorizing names." I shyly scratched my ears "But, why didn't tell me earlier?"
"I thought you will remember me. Well, it is also my fault, I forgot you don't know my real name and you are bad at remembering names."
"Yeah, long time no see Blair unnie"
"It's been so long. You are not a child anymore"
"Yeah, I grow taller now hahaha but you still look a child unnie." I teased her.
"Yah! you are just a few inches taller than me."
"But I'm still taller hahaha." I ruffle her hair and she slapped my hand.
"Yah, Don't ruin my hair I should be the one patting your head."
"Unnie that's from the past and now I can do this to you hahaha you are so cuteee." I back hugged her.
"Still same old Alexa."
"Of course I miss you Blair unnie."
"I miss you too poopoo" She smiled at me, happiness evident on her face. "So, tell me about your life now.
"I'm still the same Alexandra Smity and I'm already 19 yrs old, I accelerated and I'm now 4th-year college. I'm taking medicine and I'm studying at HT University because of a scholarship. I'm living alone in a one-bedroom apartment." She looked at me proudly.
"You are a smartass huh?" She teased
"And you are a richass." I teased back.
"Who covering for your expenses?"
"Me, myself, and I" I answered nonchalantly. "That's why I'm working here."
"How much is your salary here? How many and kind jobs do you have? Don't you dare to lie to me." She said seriously and I gulped, she can read me easily.
"60,000 won (50$) per week, I have 3 jobs which are here at the cafe, librarian, and waitress" She heaves a sighed and massaged her scalp. "Don't worry Blair unnie, I'm fine and it didn't affect my studies at all."
"Quit your job, I will be the one going to cover all your expenses and needs."
"Seah, I don't need a sugar mommy" I tried to lift the mood and she looked at me in disbelief. "I'm an independent woman, I can handle myself and I've been doing this for years."
"Alexa you kn-" I cut her off.
"I'm fine Seah" I said firmly.
"Fine! but you are going to accept some of my help."
"As long as, you will not going to give me some money and material things."
"Let's make a deal if I need help at my company I'm going to ask you and I'll be paying you."
"Okay! Only if you badly needed it. I trust you or else." I warned her and she nodded.
"It's already late, I'm going to take you home now. Don't argue with me." She said sternly and we leave the cafe. We walked towards her car and my jaw dropped. She has Chevrolet Camaro SS.
"Richass." I mumbled and she laughed.
"Hop on!"
She drove me home and I invited her inside my apartment. She looked around and she checked the door if sturdy and the door lock if it's functioning well. She is still the same overprotective sister.

Chelsea's POV
Uncle and Auntie asked me to help Avie to find her a lover and to help her with some paperwork. I planned to visit her office since I'm going to lessen her works and I already found her a blind date.
"ERIE!!" I barged into her office and shouted excitedly "I already found you a date"
"Cancel it, I'm busy."
"That's why I'm here."
"I don't need you." Ouch! that kinda hurts just kidding, I'm already used to her attitude.
"Ave your parents want you to do this."
"But I don't want to."
"But you have to."
"I hate you."
"I love you too."
She stopped signing her papers and she glared at me.
If looks can kill I'm already dead because of the glare of this b***h.
We are now having to stare contest and she sighed. I won!
"Chel, where? When? Who? Job? Age? Looks? Attitude?" She bombarded me with questions.
"Luxury Hotel & Rest Restaurant tomorrow, Andrew Song, the heir of TeleSong, 26, fine, not bad."
"Cancel it, he is not interesting."
"How did u even know when you haven't met him yet."
"Guts."
"Ave, just meet him for 1 hour, and if you didn't like him I'm going to find someone new."
"10 minutes." She bargain
"45 minutes." I said
"20 minutes."
"30 minutes take it or I'm going to call your parents."
"Fine! Since you are here finish this paper works." She stands up and she picks her purse.
"Where are you going?"
"Home!" She shouted and she leave me here at her office.
I finished her paperwork and I stretch my body. I looked at the clock and it's already 7:16 PM. I got up from my seat and leave the company.
I saw a cafe and I stopped to get a coffee. I opened the door and walked towards the cashier and I saw a familiar girl.
"Good Day! Welcome to Star Cafe! What is your order?" She smiled at me widely and I smiled back.
"I want an iced coffee"
"Anything else?"
"That's it"
"That will be 3500 ($2) won" I gave my black card to her "You can sit first and we will be serving your drinks."

"Here is your coffee, Enjoy!" She served the iced coffee and she was about to walk away but I called her.

"Yes? Is there something wrong with the coffee?" I shook my head. "So what's the problem?
"Can I talk to you?"
"Oh I'm sorry I can't my boss might fire me."
"You don't have to worry I can buy this I just badly needed to talk to you."
"Ms-" I cut myself off
"Chelsea, Chelsea Halston." I introduced myself she might remember me.
"Ms. Halston I don't care if you can buy this cafe. It's still my shift so I need to work, it's my job, and it's my responsibility as an employee." She bowed.

"Yes it's me Poopoo" I reciprocated her hugged "Thankfully, you remembered me".
"I'm sorry Seah I have poor memory" She shyly scratched her ears " But, why did you didn't tell me earlier?"
"I thought you will remember me. Well, it is also my fault, I forgot you don't know my real name"
"Yeah, long time no see Blair unnie."
"It's very long. You are not a child anymore."
"Yeah, I grow taller now hahaha but you still look a child unnie." She teased
"Yah! you are just a few inches taller than me."
"But I'm still taller hahaha." She ruin my hair and I slapped her hand

We caught up with each other and I drove her home. She is still the same kid that I know.
