CHAPTER 10: Keep Holding Hands

Avery's POV

We arrive at the event where Music Festival will be holding. I'm still holding Allie's hand I havent let go it. She keep looking around while Im just staring at her.

"Good Afternoon! Ms. Halston" The staffs greeted me.

"Good afternoon as well" I smiled at them since Allie told me and I saw at my peripheral vision that she smiling while looking at me. "Is still processing?"

"Yes Ms. Halston but its already 85% finish and we still finishing the other 15%." The staff said.

"Okay, keep up the good work. If there is a problem find a solution first but if you can't contact my secretary." He nodded and bid his goodbye.

"Wow Avie you really a professional and responsible CEO." Allie praised me and I immediately blushed. "You're blushing Avie" she chuckled and pinched my cheeks.

"Allie dont make me blush" I scolded her and she just patted my head.

"AVERY!!" I heard someone shouted and I look at its direction. I saw a guy but who the hell is that guy. "Hi! Avery nice seeing you again" He smiled at me.

"Do I know you?" I asked me seriously.

"Ouch! You cant remember me its me Kade Weaver or Kade." He acted like he is hurt but I dont care.

"What are you doing here?"

"My dad visiting here also and Im with him. Then, I saw you so I thought to greet you."

"Okay, bye!" He suddenly grab my free hand.

"Wait up Avery. Let's go grab some dinner." I pull away my hand.

"No thanks, I have some more important matter than having dinner with you. Dont call me by my name Mr. Weaver because we are not friends or even close and dont ever touch me." I said coldly.

"Ms. Halston just dinner and I promise I stop bugging you."

"Dont you have work? Did you know Im a busy person? I dont have time for that dinner." I leave him and I drag Allie. He keep shouting my name and I know he wants to run to me again but Bobby stopping him.

"Avie, are you okay?" Allie hold the hand that Kade grab earlier. She checking it and suddenly she grab a sanitizer on her bag.

"What was that for?" She put on her hands first and she wipe it to my hands.

"So, your hands are clean and sanitized. You know germs are everywhere." She joked and I laughed cause I know what she means.

"Allie, you are so cute." I kissed her cheeks " Thank you for cleaning my hand."

"Welcome Avie" She smiled at me. We keep walking around the area and I think it will be done soon.

"Ms. Halston, you have a meeting with Mr. Welton at 6 and its already 5 I think we should go." Madie informed me and I nodded. We followed her and we sat on the car. Im still holding Allie's hand, actually its warm and our hand fits with each other.

"Avie, you want me to be accompany you at your meeting? or you want me to just wait here in the car?" Allie asked me.

"I want you to accompany me because I dont want to let go of your hand." She laughed at me and she caressing my hand using her thumb.

"Ms. Halston we have arrive" Bobby informed. We got down the car and we went inside the resturant I saw Mr. Welton already waiting and he had a companion.

"Good Evening Ms. Halston" He bowed and his companion also.

"Good Evening as well Mr. Welton" He stunned because this is the first time I greeted him. I saw Allie bowed at him.

"Alexa?!" Mr. Welton's companion exclaimed and I looked at Alexa she looked shocked as well.

"Kia?" The girl name Kia hugged my Allie and Allie hugged her too. "Its been a long time we hangout."

"Yes it is, I'm waiting for you to invite me to hang out but you never did."

"Kia, Im sorry, I'm busy with school works."

"Its fine Lex"

"Ahem! Can I ask how did you know each other?" Mr. Welton asked.

"She is my friend dad"

"Good Evening Mr. Welton , I am Alexandra Wreyne Smith or just call me Alexa and I'm a friend of your daughter." She bowed.

"Oh nice meeting you Alexa looks like my daughter had a friend." He laughed while me Im mad.

"Dad!" Her daugher whined "Oh! Im sorry Ms. Halston let me formally introduce myself. I am Kiara Blythe Welton but you can just call me Kiara." I nodded at her.

"Let's talk about the meeting now." I said I want to finish this meeting quickly because jealousy is eating me.

While me and Mr. Welton are talking I saw Allie and Kiara talking and sometimes they are chuckling. I'm really jealous now.

"That's it Ms. Halston thank you for coming here." Mr. Welton said and I nodded.

"I will go now Mr. Welton I still have something to do." I drag Allie and I didn't let her talk to that Kiara anymore.

We went to the car and we are quiet the whole ride.

We arrive at the company and we went to my office. I sat on my chair and I saw Allie sat at the couch.

She is really oblivous isnt she? She is lucky I love her or else.

"Avie" She called me and she went beside me. She's squatting so Im taller than her because Im sitting on my chair. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't do that." She said but I keep quiet.

"Avie, I know you have questions in your mind you can ask me. She is Kiara one of my friends she is from Seoul National University, we met in a vintage shop and then we clicked. We hangout sometime and we also talking and texting in the phone. We are only friends I promise. We just saw each other as a sister nothing more nothing less." She explained and I sighed.

"Allie, can you tell me all your friends name?" I asked her and she looked confused.

"Why?"

"I want to know them"

"Know them or stalk them?"

"Both"

"Avie that is invading of privacy. I know you already stalked me or even still stalking me but I just let it that pass. But, I really hate someone invading my privacy."

"I'm sorry Allie I just wanted to know your friends and intentions."

"Avie, I choose my friends wisely and they are all kind."

"But Allie"

"No buts Avie. Dont stalk my friends and also me. If you want to know something about me you can ask me."

"Fine" I surrendered " But, can I sleep with you tonight?" I asked her cutely and she patted my head it means it affects her.

"You dont accept rejection?" She raised her one eyebrows.

"Nope" I popped the p

"Fine, since you are cute." She said while patting my head.

"Let's go!"

"I thought you still have something to do?"

"Its already 7:47, I can finish it tommorow. Let's go! I want to cuddle you in the couch or in your bed."

"So that's what you planning that's why you want to be with me?".

"Yes hehe" I smiled innocently at her.

"Such a cutie" She hold my hand and we went outside the building.

Bobby drove us the Allie's apartment and its my first time coming there. I'm excited to cuddle her , maybe we can watch some movies and then if there is a sweet scence we might kiss.

Avery get a grip dont expect, your Allie is oblivious and innocent. Since she is oblivious and innocent did she had her first kiss already?

I shake my thought because we arrive. Allie open the door and I saw her apartment.

Its bright and homey. Its very different to my room. She guide me upstairs and she handed me a clothes.

"Wear that so you feel comfortable." She said and she went downstairs. I change my clothes and her clothes smell like her. I think I might stole this clothes cause I love it.

"Avie! You done?" Allie shouted. I went downstairs and I saw her wearing a new pair of clothes.

"Yes Allie" she hugged me suddenly which I reciprocated.

"You are so cute with my hoodie. Its big to you but you are still cute on it." She pulled away and patted my head.

"What do you want to do?"

"I want to watch a movie"

"What movie?"

"Ahmm Frozen 2" She chuckled

"Okay, sit there on the sofa and I will get some chips and soda."

I sat on the sofa and I waited for her. Minutes later she came back with a 3 bags of chips and 3 can of coke. She sat beside me and I scoot closer to her and I hugged her arm. The movie is now starting suddenly someone ring the doorbell.

"I'm just going to see who is that" Allie stand up and walked towards the door.

"Ducky!!!" A guy hugged her suddenly and they stumble. They guy is now on Alexa's top still hugging her. I ran towards the guy and I kick him to his side. "Ouch" he groan in pain.

"Allie, you okay? Are you hurt? Did he hurt you?" I asked Allie worriedly and I help her to stand up. When she stand up I marched towards the guy, I was about to punch him when suddenly someone stop me and its Allie.

"Avie stop Im fine"

"No its not fine for me"

"I told you Avie its fine and I kn-" I pulled away my arm and I punch the guy on his face. "Avie I told you stop."

"Dont stop me!!" I keep punching him and then Alexa grab me by waist and she pull me. I still didnt stop I try to pull away again but suddenly.

"I TOLD YOU TO STOP!!!" Allie shouted, its my first time I heard her shouting. She help the guy and I was about to talk to her but she beat me up.

"Avie, stop if you are not going to say something nice its better to keep your mouth shut." She said seriously and she guide the guy to the sofa. "You okay? Nevermind dont answer that dumb question , I just ask that because that's what normal people asking and you told me to live like a normal people."

"You still remembered that Ducky" The guy said.

"Yeah and I keep reminding you to stop calling me Ducky."

"Fine"

"Wait here, I will grab my emergency kit." Allie grab me with her upstairs. She suddenly hugged me and I hear her sighed. "I'm sorry Avie for shouting at you I didnt mean to do that. Next time listen to me first before you make a assumption." Her right hand rubbing my head while her left hand is just holding my back.

"Who is he Allie?" I whispered to her.

"I will introduce him to you later after you calm yourself and after I treat your knuckles and his face." She pulled away and smiled at me sweetly.

She grab the emergency kit and we went downstairs. Actually, I should be the one to apologize but she apologized to me just because she shouted at me. She doesnt really like hurting other persons.

"Aw! Aw! Lex gently , awe" The guy wince in pain.

"Such a weakling."

"Im not!" He whined and Alexa press the cotton to his lips

"Aww! Lex gently"

"You crybaby its already finish" Alexa throw all the cotton that have been used.

"Alexa you have explaining to do." The guy said and Allie sighed.

"Yeah, I know from the start? Or I will explain this situation first?"

"We can talk the start later but now this situation first." The guy said

"Ash, this is Avery Jane Halston." Allie introduced me but that's it?!?!

"Oh! She is the powerful CEO" Looksks like he knows me "Also the woman that you want to fall inlove with." Oh wow he knows. "You didnt tell her about me?"

Who the hell is he?

"Nope"

"Why?!?!"

"I dont know"

"Yah!!" He glared at my Allie "Aisshh really Lex you havent change."

"Why should I? You just said to live like a normal people that's it , you didnt said to talk about you to others." The guy sighed.

"Fine" He surrendered "Avery I dont like you for her so give up."

"Who the hell are you to tell me that?" I asked him coldly.

"Her Boy friend" He is what??!? Her boyfriend?!.

"Ash, you havent change either." Allis said and shook her head. "Don't listen to him Avie."

"But who the hell is he? Tell me before I punch him again."

"Language Avie" She scolded me "His name is Ashton Anurak but just call him Ashton. He is my brother."

"YOUR WHAT?!?!" I shouted in shock.

"Her brother so give up missy" He stick out his toungue.

"Stop being childish Ash." Lex scolded him "Not related by blood but by papers. His family is the one who adopted me"

"So, you have a family?"

"Yeah, only him and Grandma"

"So he will be my brother-in-law?"

"Nope, Im not because I dont like you for her." His brother said.

"Should I apologize?" I asked Allie and she nodded. This situation is akward I cant believe I will meet her brother in this kind of situation. "I'm sorry I didnt mean to do that. I just did that because I thought you are a pervert who wants to get in Allie's pants."

"Its fine I already forgive you since you did that to protect my lil sis but it cannot change the fact that I dont like you."

"Where are you will be staying?" Allie changed the topic.

"Her-"

"Nope, never, even in your dreams. I dont want you here book a hotel or stay in 24 hour sauna here."

"Why? You are my lil sis but why?" He whined

"I only had one bedroom and bed. You will not going to fit in the couch. You are snoring. You also taking too long in the shower which is a waste of water. You leaving the tv open whole night. You leaving the uncleaned dishes in the sink. You leaving your dirty clothes in the bathroom. You always mix the colored clothes to the white clothes. You always touching my things which I hate. You always breaking one things here in my house. You are loud and annoying. You always get into trouble. You always going to the club and you making me your chaperone. Should I just give you a list of why I dont want you here?" Wow he is really getting into Allie's nerve but she is still calm.

"I already a booked a hotel hehe. Im just joking Lex hehe" He scratch his nape "How about Avery?".

"She will be sleeping here because I want to. She is not like you and never in your life she be like you. She is organize, dark, gloomy, serious, perfectionist, punctual,and nice." I'm not sure if she complimenting me or she insulting me.

"Let's just talk tommorow. You still owe me an explanation."

"I can't, Avery and I will be on the Halston's Mansion tommorow."

Why I didnt know that we will going at the Mansion tommorow? Allie you are really lucky that I love you or else I already killed you.

"Why is that?"

"Her parents wants to see us"

"I told you A-"

"Ash, Im fine its my decision. End of discussion. I will just going to contact you if I'm already free. So, go now bye!" Allie pushed Ashton outside and she closed the door. She sat on the couch and sighed. I sat beside her and sighed also.

I can't believe that there is a lot of happenings happen in one day. Its such a f*****g long day.
