- 10 - “I don’t know, but I can’t think this is good,” Ilene said, scanning the area for escape routes. “Why are you limping?” “Twisted an ankle. Not bad.” “Is anybody still in there?” one of the newcomers yelled at them. “Don’t think so.” The spokesman nodded, and the group turned to close on them. “Is running an option?” She backed a couple of steps away from the approaching men. It wasn’t Michael who answered. “I’m afraid not,” one of the men coming toward them said. He pulled out a gun. The other two men and the woman did also. All four pistols pointed at them. Ilene called up wind to try to push the guns away or take them out of the men’s hands, but another force countered hers.
