Chapter 1

“I'm not gonna believe all this. I thought that was just a dream that's why I agreed. You know, I'm just living a dream!” Katrien is still arguing with Drey that all that happened was just a dream.

“Why don't you try and find out if all of this is just a dream?” Drey let out a playful smile.

“This is all just a hallucinations! I'm still drunk!” Katrien slap herself but Drey is still in front of him.

She tried calling one of her friends and invited her to come over.

“Hey girl.” the girl greeted.

“Hey Daisy! Come here,there's something I want to confirm. Can you see him?” Katrien pointed Drey and Drey just shrugged. Her friend smiled at her mischievously.

“Girl, is that your boss? Nice catch.” Her friend whispered.

So, in the end, her friend just left her because she thinks Katrien just called her to brag.

“So, do you believe it now?” still, it doesn't change Katrien mind so she cleaned herself and ready to go the company even though they don't have work today.

“I'll drive you there.” she didn't refused his offer and he drove her to the company and the employees are confused why Katrien went out from there Boss's car. She suddenly realised that she didn't thought of that.

Then the boss leads her inside the company so she can ask the employees.

Then she saw her superior. “Miss Cha, is it true that I was fired?”

“You don't remember? Yesterday, didn't I made a favor to you? Then after you submit it to Boss, you went out then came back drunk saying you want to resign then boss came and just fired you. I didn't what happened to you, Miss Zielle. I thought you were happy working with us but we didn't know that you were struggling. I'm sorry if I make you work over things that isn't yours. ” Katrien was shocked.

They exchanges few words and goodbyes then defeatedly went back to Drey.

“All right. Does this mean that twoo weeks of luxury is also true?”

“Yes.” then she started living a dream by starting buying dresses, luxury bags, jewelries, shoes, heels, and other things she just wants. She also booked a flight to other countries and visited places she dreamt of going.

Katrien Zielle. She is a very intelligent woman. Sometimes lazy, sometimes hardworking. She has an exceptional beauty inside and out. Others will say she is a good girl.

But despite of having beauty and brain, her family disowned her. Her life is almost perfect. But someone's life can't be perfect. You can't be greedy to have it all. That's why fate choose love as the missing piece in her life.

“Yoouu! *then pointed Drey* areeee handsomeeeee *hik* hmmm. But you areeee not my *hik* type. Hihihi *hik*” Drey just ignored her and waited for her to fell asleep.

In the past two weeks, Drey was preparing for his Lord's revival. Since Katrien signed the contract, it still takes 7 days before the Lord completly revived. So, It's been a week since his Lord's revival. And now, Drey will bring Katrien to his Lord.

After being so drunk, Katrien found herself lying on a very spacious bed. She woke up but she doesn't feel dizzy at all nor having a hangover.

“Good Morning, M'lady.” it was Drey who greeted her with the other ladies.

“G-good Morning. W-where am I?” she was confused because the room was also spacious.

“You are at the castle of Lord Zelion. I also have you medication so that you won't have a hangover.” Drey explained.

The ladies are the Zelion's servants.

(Drey: How dare you call Lord Zelion by his name! Me: Mwehehe)

They helped Katrien ready herself. She wore a pretty white dress that's into her liking. Little did she know that what she's wearing is her wedding dress.

“This way M'lady. The Lord and the others are waiting for you.” they entered the room with full of unknown creatures cheering for her as she walk towards her future husband.

Even though it lacks explaination, she already understands what is happening. She looked in front and that terrifying beast is waiting for her.

She can't help but just looked down and choose not to look at the others. When she arrived in front, the person that's gonna lead the ceremony started.

It's not the wedding she anticipated. This is not what she dreamt of. Specially his groom. She doesn't want to be wedded to a beast. But because of her reckless action, she's gonna marry him. That's why she is not taking a glance at his groom.

When the 'what-do-you-call-this-demon-priest' asked the common question you hear at the wedding she want to say no.

“I do.” after exchanging I do's Drey put a cup of wine(?) in front of them.

Then suddenly there's cut on Katrien fingertips for a drop of blood. “Ouch!” she flinched because she can't endure pain. Even the little pains.

Her blood and Zelion's blood were mixed in the wine. The 'what-do-you-call-this-demon-priest' divided the wine to two glasses.

Katrien and Zelion has to drink it because it was like the exchanging vows and rings in human realm.

Katrien looked at the wine. She smells it. It was sweet. So, even if it has their blood, she still drank it because it's a wine. She is alcoholic too.

After that, the 'what-do-you-call-this-demon-priest' announced them as husband and wife.

They received a lot of congratulations and Katrien just faked a smile.

Even though Drey knows that, he even proposed them to have a picture. Katrien's face now is unpaintable. But Drey playfully told them to smile then closer, act like a couple.

As for Zelion, he sends signals to him saying stop it but Drey continued. Since Zelion is Demon Lord and he just drank blood of his wife, he can now hear her mind.

But no one knows about that except Demon Lords. Demon Lords have the ability to hear their wives thoughts.

And now, he is hearing a very noisy mind saying

So, he just stood there for the picture to finish already and they had a 10 cm apart wedding photo with Katrien's eyes full of bloodlust.

After the wedding, they went to the dining hall where there is a banquet. But since Katrien don't want to look at Zelion's beast face, she just said she wants to eat somewhere.

But Zelion hears her real voice. “I want to eat somewhere peaceful. Well, it's fine if I don't get to eat. I'm not a slave, right? Jeez. I want to die right now. I want to drink beer. Oh I remember there's a balcony back to the room where I woke up. Who's room was that? Can I go there? Nevermind. That cake looks yummy. I wanna eat that. Are your people all unknown creatures? What are they? Ahhhhhhh!” and that's what's going on in her mind. He just mentally laugh hearing that.

Hearing that, Zelion just ordered Drey to lead her back to the room where she woke up. And bring her foods so she can eat there peacefully.

“Weeeh! This Demon Zelion is verrryyy thoughtful. Maybe I'll change my approach to him soon.” Zelion smiled hearing that.

Katrien's now chillin' drinking tea while eating wedding cake at the balcony. She's watching this unknown creatures flying around the castle.

“What are those flying creatures, Drey?” she asked.

“Those are Demons, M'lady. You can say they are lizardmen but all demons here are looked like mutant human animals in human world.”

Oh! Really?

Drey excused himself after he received a signal from Zelion. And now Katrien's alone.

Even though she wouldn't admit it, she's a bit scared of the demons. But most scared of his husband.

While her mind was wandering around, a little voice suddenly talked that made Katrien startled.

“Are you the new lady of the house?” a little voice asked.

“W-who's there?” Katrien is looking everywhere.

“Down here!” when she looked down, a little frog looked at her.

But because she's afraid of frogs, she suddenly stand up and tried to get far from the frog.

“D-don't come near me, please.” she closed her eyes tight then the little voice said “I-I'm sorry. C-can you open your eyes now?”

When she opened eyes, she saw a little boy looking at her.

“Are you the frog?” Katrien asked.

“I'm sorry if I scared you. I'm Jelo. Are you the new lady of the house?” she smiled while hearing that little voice.

“I'm sorry too. I'm not really into frogs. I'm Katrien. Nice to meet you Jelo. As for your question, I'm not sure.” she invited him to sit in front of her to join her little tea party.

“Why? Aren't you Master Zelion's wife?” this kid asks too much. She said in her mind.

“Uhh yeah. But--- anyways, why are you here? Where is your mama? Are you lost?”

“Yeah I'm los--” suddenly a big front jumped out of nowhere.

Katrien was shocked and- - - - her world stopped and everything went black.

Zelion suddenly rushed to go to aid her. That big frog was Jelo's Mama and she was looking for him.

Zelion knows what happened and he explained it to them. He also told them not go near her in frog form.

He took care of her. He even called their Doctor which is a human-devil just like Drey.

He is just like your typical beast - friend. Haha
