9 March 24, 2019 Rio Chama, New Mexico Myriam waited until Ramsey’s rental car disappeared down Rio Chama’s dusty main street before making the call. The deep baritone voice on the other end said, “Did he take the job?” Myriam hesitated. She didn't know if Ramsey would take it or not.
