Without getting up, Grossinger said, “I’m glad you could make it.” “What happened here?” “Adam told me to get rid of everything.” “When? You talked to him? “Not lately. ‘Get rid of it all when I’m dead,’ he said.” “Is he dead?” Ramsey asked, settling into the other chair.
