36 April 2, 2019 Rio Chama, New Mexico Myriam had arrived at the shrine a half hour before Ramsey and with a troubled mind. She could not remember a tougher time in her life. There had been the divorce and the trouble at the University of Oregon, but nothing like this. She was feeling sorry for herself when she sat down on one of the benches near the cottonwood tree.
