The Proposal
By the time I was finished cleaning my station the show had already begun. Jennifer was once again in the spotlight, undressed and kneeling at the feet of Kristoff. I watched from the back of the room to learn what I could about being a rope model. There was chemistry and an intimate connection between them on the stage, but I knew now it was all part of the performance between Rope Master and model. Kristoff took his time to create a complex harness of robe around her long lean body and tied it to the large ring in various spots. Jennifer’s eyes were cast downward during the performance and she looked sad. I couldn’t deny the connection between us last night was real, but it was hard to picture myself in a relationship with her, or anyone.
