Chapter Six The Offer I escort her to my small room in the adjacent building without the eyes of the faithful seeing us. Once inside, I lock the door for privacy. “Please, make yourself comfortable,” I say. Dorothy sits on the edge of my narrow bed. “Would you like a drink of water, Dorothy?” I ask. “Thank you.
