Chapter Nine The Late Night Visitor Late in the evening I hear the sound I was hoping for, a soft tapping on my door. My heart starts pounding and I feel alive once again. I jump out of bed, hastily put my robe on and open the door. Dorothy appears like an angel, dressed in a white silk robe tied loosely with a pretty sash and white stockings.
