Chapter 2

1753 Words
Allies or enemies? Frankie I slowly opened my eyes and felt that silver was slightly burning my wrists. I looked at my hand they were in a bowl of water but chained, I looked around where I was and my eyes laid on the little girl who captured me. She was standing in front of a closed door and staring at me with fear in her eyes. I was closed in a cell and at the other side of the silver looking grids there was a little poorly furnished room. I felt that I was still in my monster form and I changed back to normal, every movement hurt but I was too hurt and tired to fight now. She didn't take her eyes off of me the whole time, this little wolf is very alert. I felt the collar they put on my neck so I tried to speak softly avoiding the pain what this stuff could cause. - Hi! - She nodded but kept her distance. I forced a smile on my face which was probably a grimace of pain. - What is your name? - She frowned at my question and giggled a little. Why is her smile so familiar to me? - Are you really asking about my name? -  I moved closer to the grids and shrugged. - Why not? It seems like we are closed here together, at least lets spend the time somehow. - She stared at me like I was crazy. - I don't think that is a sane idea. You are monster and my duty is keep an eye on you not chatting. - She grimaced and tried to look mad but I felt that she was really curious, afraid as well but curious. - Well, my name is Frankie and you don't have to be afraid, I won't be here for long. - That moment she came closer and laughed at me. - Really? You are chained to the wall in a hidden cell. - I chuckled at her and pulled my chains out from the wall. - She gasped and jumped back. I sighed and took off the chains from my wrists and soaked them in water. Finally the pain was gone and they healed. " One inconvenience, check mark" I looked at the little girl standing at the furthest part of the room and staring at me with her jaw dropped. I stood up and put my hand to my waist. She was a very beautiful girl. The same high as me, with a long dark brown hair, tanned skin with a few freckles on her face, her head had a long shape and her face was extremely cute. She had thick eyebrows, her lips were like a super model's, she also had large eyes which were even bigger now that she stared at me surprised. They were chestnut brown. I couldn't stand but laughed at her. Her face got red. - How?! How did you do that?! - I shrugged and smiled. - I can do more awesome stuffs but its none of your business. - I pulled my tongue at her and she shook her head in surprise. She stole a few steps closer to me and said. - Ariana. My name is Ariana. - I smiled at her. - Nice to meet you. - She came closer she was afraid of me but I didn't mean to hurt her.  - Will you tell me how did you do that? - I giggled. - That is one of my powers. - Ariana frowned and asked. - Then why didn't you escaped from the net before? - My smile faded on my face and took a deep breath. I picked up the chains and showed to her how they were burning my palms. - I can break the chains out of the wall, but that net limited my powers just like this f*****g collar does. - I said and tried to take it off , and I could!  We both stared at each other surprised." Now I can kill that little girl and get out of here lets see the grids. " I felt anger taking over me and my hands became grey, slippery and with large claws. I hit the grids but my claws broke down and they hurt like hell I let out a scream and it shook the grids. I saw Ariana lying on the floor holding her ears with her hands and she was crying. I caught my hands in front of my mouth and whispered. - Ariana I'm so sorry, are you okay? - She slowly got up from the floor and her ears bleed a little but she answered. - Not really. - Her cute face grimaced and all I saw was hatred on it. - Why do you even care?! - She shouted at me and I felt bad. She was just an innocent little girl, she was probably used by Carl and his gang , I was hundred percent sure that she didn't ask for this duty based on how horrified she looked. I changed my hands back to normal and looked in her eyes. - I didn't mean to hurt you. I don't hurt anyone who didn't deserve it. And even if they do I try not to. - I could see from the way she looked at me that she didn't believe a word of mine. Ariana wiped the blood from her ears and crossed her arms across her chest then asked with a grim look. - Why should I believe you?! You made Carl blind! You are a soulless cruel monster. - I fell down on my knees her words hurt me and I started to became angry. It took a horribly bug effort to manage calm. I looked up at her and whispered. - You have no idea what you are talking about! - Our eyes met and hers just like mine shoot lightnings of hatred at each other. She asked with an egoist tone. - Oh really would you please clear things for me little stupid thing? - I grinned at her and showed her to sit down. - It will be my pleasure honey. - While I was telling her my life story with Carl and Beth she looked at me like a little kid who is listening to a tale before sleeping. Her expressions changed when I told her how Carl and Beth tortured me for years and why I made him blind. I came to the end of my story but I didn't tell her about Damien. Something told me that this was the pack who attacked them. - After all this I was finally free.  - Wow...I had no idea about all this, but I still don't know if I can trust you! What if you just made up all these stories to force me to feel empathy for you? - When she said these words the locks on the door opened and Carl stepped in with Beth. They hold one tray each one of them one, Beth handled one of the trays to Ariana who quickly sat down on her bed and started to eat it. Carl brought the other one just as far from my cell that I could've reach it if I burn down my whole arm if I try to get it. He split on my food and grimaced. - So so bad little girl that I can't see the look on your face now! - Beth was still afraid of me but she tried to put a hard expression on her face. I decided to scare the s**t out of her. I bowed my head and let my hair to cover my face. I felt my fangs growing when Beth stepped closer a little to my cell I lifted my head and screamed at her. She fainted and Ariana ran to her to help her. Carl extended his walking stick into my cage and hit me with an electric shock with its end. I got surprised but I grinned like someone who just gone insane. - This is all you can old d**k?! - He shocked me again and again and again. I felt my blood getting hotter and my skin colder. - He laughed and Beth was slowly getting back. She stepped next to him and Ariana stared at me with a horrified look. - Carl she is not chained and her collar in on the floor. - Carl grimaced.  - We have no chance to hit knock this cockroach out she will kill us before we can touch her. - I grinned at him and said. - You can buy a potion for that! But I also can promise to you that when I'll get out from here this time you won't stay alive.-  I felt my face distorted with hatred just like in the good old days. Hate came to life again in my soul but now there was the awareness that I would see Damien again as soon as  I got out of here and this thought only made me even more reckless. Ariana's face showed surprise. She turned to Beth. - What does she mean with this? - Beth was too frightened from me to answer, even now that I was locked up in a silver cage she feared her life and she did goddamn good! Carl let Ariana's question without answering and turned around. They left the room but I could smell the fear from their direction and it only heated my hatred even more. I glanced at Ariana and tried to soften my anger.  But now that my claws were long I could reach my food with them and only burn my forearm a little. I hissed at the pain and when I got my food finally I managed to calm down and I cured my arm with a little water from the bowl I had. I sat down cross-legged and started to eat. I ate in silence and noticed that my fellow companion is not eating. - Sorry good apetite! - She started to eat but her mind was somewhere else. I rolled my eyes at her. - Ask whatever you want I'll answer. - She took a deep breath and asked. - Are you really the good guy in this story? - I chuckled and answered. - We are all the good guys in our own story and the monster in someone else's. It is only up to you which one do you want me to be in yours. - I winked at her and she smirked a little then continued to eat.
