My body trembled as I slowly sat up, every movement sending another wave of agony through me. When I looked down, I noticed drops of blood on the floor, making my heart sinked. "Where did he go?" I whispered. Then his voice echoed through the hall. "Hana Kang," he called. "Show everyone what you're capable of." Startled, I looked up and realized he was still seated where he had been all along, watching me with the same emotionless expression. "I'm waiting." I tried to stand, but my legs gave way beneath me, sending me crashing back to the floor. "Does it hurt that much?" he asked mockingly. Ignoring the laughter around me, I struggled to my feet again, using the table for support. Just as I steadied myself, the table suddenly shifted, and I lost my balance once more. Pain shot through my body as I hit the ground. A wicked smirk appeared on Master Daeshim's face. "Hannah Kang..." he said coldly. "Five... four... three... two... one." He stood. "Lock her up." The guards immediately surrounded me. "No visitors. No food. No water. Three days." Without another glance, Master Daeshim walked away. --- Areum's POV My heart shattered as I watched them drag Hana toward the prison cells. Please... let Hana be alright. --- Young Ja POV As I paced around my room, one question kept bothering me. Why had Master Daeshim shown Hana mercy? If it had been anyone else, they would have been executed immediately. Determined to find out, I headed toward his room. Before I entered, I overheard Khalid pleading on Hana behalf. Without thinking, I pushed the door open. "Why are you defending that powerless fool?" I demanded. The room instantly fell silent. Master Daeshim's expression darkened. "Watch your words," he said in a calm but terrifying voice. Fear washed over me. I immediately apologized, but he simply looked away as if I no longer existed. Khalid stepped forward. "Dae... please. She's already suffered enough." Master Daeshim remained silent, calmly sipping from his glass while staring into the distance. The room was filled with an unbearable silence. To Be Continued...
