On the way to the hotel, we talk about the new semester that's going to start next week...
"U know I won't be here for the next semester,don't ya?"He asks
"What do u mean u won't be here?" I ask praying he doesn't mean what I think
"I mean that I will go back to Seattle for the new semester..." He explains and I freeze
"Why?" I ask confused
"Because,this is where I'm supposed to give lectures...I'm a substitute teacher in Texas...I only go there every September and I stay till February...u seriously didn't know that?"
"No...I've heard that u won't give any lectures to our department for this semester,but no that u won't be in Texas at all..."
"I see..."
"So...u're leaving next week?"
"Sadly,yes..."
"And...what about us?"
