A1 Exam

The A1 exam was only 5 days away, and Sam required all students to complete both online and offline assignments. Not just one or two pages, but over 30 pages! "hmmfh,", Cassandra took a deep breath. She was in the library reviewing all of her assignments. There were still 10 offline pages and 3 online assignments to be completed. She thought, she would checked what cynthia had done for comparison, so that she could refresh her mind for a while. She reached for her phone on the table.

"Sis,", suddenly a hand touched her back with a soft sound. Cassandra abandoned her plans and turned around. She found a girl younger than her standing behind. "Yes?", she replied. That girl then sat down next to Cassandra. "I am Jane. Are you busy? Can we talk?", Jane started the conversation. Cassandra was silent for a moment, then she packed her belongings. "I am Cassandra, come on, we can talk and have our lunch at canteen.", Cassandra led Jane out of the library.

This is not the first time for Cassandra called by others. Most of her friends, not her the initiator. She was opened for relationship, but too shy to invites the other first. Jane and Cassandra now sitting on canteen, enjoying their lunch and introducing themselves. Jane was really antusiasm describing about herself, her family, and her planning to go to Germany. Cassandra heared her story patiently. Jane told her, that it was her initiative and also her own money to pay the German Course. She got them from her saving during working on factory. Cassandra could feels that she is kind and high motivated to grow up.

Jane comes from Riau, a small island near Sumatra Island. She is the eldest of 5 children on her family. He graduated from her senior high school in 2005. Two of her siblings already married, soon after their graduated from junior high school. The others still continue their studies on elementary school. Her father were fisherman, her mother has her own groceries shop in front of their home. Jane had just moved to Jakarta for 4 months.

According to Jane's story, Cassandra known that course also began at last December, and they would have their exam next week. Jane was looking for a friend for helped her learn German. In her opinion, her classmates were so selfish and proud of their parents' wealth. She feels lonely due to no one wanted her to become a closed friend.

They were talking for almost an hour. Afterward, Jane asked for Cassandra's phone number, then back to her class. Cassandra continue her activities on library. She picked an grammar German book, then choosed a seat on the corner. She was finishing her last 10 pages assignments from Sam.

She arrived home at 8 p.m. Afterward, she prayed and took her dinner. Dean and the children were playing badminton. She prefers to got bed rather than follow that games. A text from Evan came in. "Have you finished all assignments? How about your document, have it sent to Germany?", Evan asked her so many questions. Cassandra were lying on bed, too tired to sat and replied those text. He called Evan. "Too tired to replied, sorry to disturb. Wo bist du?", Cassandra was greeting him. "On my way home, I am driving. So how was that?", Evan repeated his question. "The documents had complete. I will send them tommorow. The assignment were not yet. How about you?", she answered. "So do I. Only 1/3 parts of them I could finished. What will happened, just happened. The exam must go on. Don't skip your dinner", he laughed. "Okay, let us see later. Take care your self.", then Cassandra hang up the line.

Listened Evan's responds about the assignments, she felt happy. "Don't push yourself too hard, those tasks only guide you to learn,", she makes sure herself to be quite. Soon, she feels asleep. Dean arrived home at 11.10 p.m. He looked at the clock and wake her up. "Don't you have a class tonight?", he reminded her. Soon, Cassandra grabbed her tablet and joined the meeting.

Sam checked all assignments that had been submitted. He also reminded the documents that have to be sent. Class then began with new topics, he wants everybody got term for speaking conversations. She was getting Mahmoud as her partner. Cassandra and Mahmoud were good team to having conversation in German.
