Kiss

She drags her gaze away from him and pretends to scan the room. He cups her chin and jerks her head back to face him. She knows he is boiling with silent wrath but so is she. He suddenly sweeps her toward a corner where two walls meet abruptly pushing her up against the wall. He then grabs her face between his hands forcing her to look up into his ardent determined eyes. His mouth swoops down and in a nanosecond, he’s kissing her, violently.

Briefly, their teeth clash, forcing her to open her mouth, then his tongue is in her mouth. She finally gives up and surrenders to the pleasure. In an uncalculated move, she wraps her arms around his neck and started kissing him back, matching his fervor. His hands grabbed her head by her hair, pulling her closer. Her hands knot into his hair to also pull him closer even though there was already no space left between them. They just couldn’t get enough of each other. Kate had never been kissed like this her entire life. She moans into his mouth. He brings his hands down to grasp her chin and hold her in place. His hips restraining her and keeping her from falling to the floor.

“You. Are. So . Sweet.” He murmurs each word in staccato. “ Oh damn it” He says and pulls abruptly away from her. She tumbles helplessly to the floor.

“ You jerk!” She says, trying to drag precious air into her lungs. He bows , hands on his knees as if he’d run a marathon.

“ Sorry, I didn’t mean to to do that. Are you okay?”

“ Yeah right. I can see how sorry you are” She murmured sarcastically.

“ Well if you don’t want my sincere apology then I’m off”

He emphasized his point by trying to walk away.

“ You jerk. You just kissed me and now you’re trying to walk away like nothing happened?”

“ Correction, we kissed. I might have been the one to initiate it but you did nothing to stop me, meaning you enjoyed it too”

Kate knew he was right so she just kept quiet, picked her handbag she had dropped and headed out towards home.

Gave stood there for a long time after after she had gone , staring at the door. He had to admit that kiss was one of the best kisses he had ever had. He finally concluded that he needed to know more about this feisty woman. He took out his phone and dialed Kai’s number.

“I need information on someone” after talking to him for sometime, he headed into his office.
