Lily stared at the butler in pure shock.
She blinked, trying to process what he’d just said. “Disowned?” she whispered. “Great-Grandfather… he really…?”
The butler’s expression turned hard. “I don’t have time to repeat myself. You’re no longer welcome here.” He raised his voice. “Get off the Evans property!”
Lily's hands trembled. Never in her life did she expect that Great-Grandfather would go this far.
She knew he had mistreated her and even taken her hard-earned company without remorse. But to disown her family and strip their names off the family list?
The butler’s voice grew louder. “Did you hear me? I said get out!” He stepped closer, raising his hands as if ready to push her away.
Lily looked up at him, her eyes filling with tears. She was still too stunned to say a word.
