I didn't want to leave Lauren, especially so soon after we got engaged, but I have urgent business to attend to. I promised my father that I would find out who was bringing the new drug into the country, and I am hoping that the identity of the culprit will be revealed soon.
That is why I chose Tuscany. Whoever is selling this new product is said to be around Tuscany. I received a call from Marcus urging me to meet with him urgently. He flew in to see me, so this means that he has good news to tell me.
I went to the restaurant where he said we would meet, and I found him sitting at the corner table with bodyguards around him. This made me a bit nervous because Marcus didn't travel with security. He always said that he was more than capable of taking care of himself.
