" Was that necessary?" I angrily said to my father.
I know that my mother would find a way to blame Lauren for what happened, but I at least thought that my father would show Lauren a bit more love, considering that he knew that I was going to propose.
I didn't want to tell him before I asked Lauren to marry me, but he backed me into a corner, I had no choice but to tell him that I was going to propose to Lauren. If I didn't do that, he would have sent her home, and I wasn't ready for that.
My father thinks that Lauren's presence is a distraction to me. He thinks that I am losing focus and I am afraid that he is right, but still, I can't let Lauren go back home because I know for a fact that Danilo will tell her the truth about me.
