15 Zaviana recovered from her shock. The wound on her cheek stopped bleeding, and she began to go through their packs. Devarius and Derkas knelt off to the side digging holes with scraps of the fallen warriors’ armor. One at a time, they buried the dead. They needed them to remain missing.
