“I have eaten already. I'll get back once you've finished your food.” Leah quickly turns around and leaves.
“What's wrong with her?” I ask, and Fabio just shrugs his shoulders before he continues eating.
One of the chefs pulls out a chair for me across from Fabio, and they seem extra polite and careful today. I shake my head and say, “I'll sit beside him. Thanks.” I take the chair beside Fabio and slide in.
“Has your master left already?” I ask as I take the utensils from the table and start eating.
“He hasn't. In fact, he wants to know why you slept in my room earlier.”
I cough on my food. One of the chefs quickly pours me a glass of water and hands it to me. Drinking it, I breathe in before asking, “Did you tell him?”
