Secretly Submissive

Chapter Ten

After Philip turned the tap on to run the water for their bath, he made sure to put in epsom salts and bubbles. He lit up a couple candles on both sides of the tub and laid the towels out on each side of the steps for the two of them. He grabbed their housecoats out of the closet so they could be warm after and relax in their bed together. He headed back out to their bed and gently cleaned up Evangeline. He then, took her hand and walked with her to the tub helping her in slowly. As Evangeline sank into the tub, Philip headed back out to their room and grabbed a bottle of wine out of the mini fridge. He poured two glasses and took them back to the bathroom. He handed her the glass as he got in the tub. "Thank you for a wonderful night." Evangeline said as she held up her glass. "You're welcome my love. I hope I satisfied you." Philip said with a smile as he clinked his glass with hers. They both took a sip and leaned back in the tub. As they laid there, Philip massaged Evangeline's feet to help her relax even more. Philip knew she loved a good foot massage every now and then just like he enjoyed getting back rubs from her. It was a form of intimacy that the two of them craved continuously from each other. It was a way for them to feel close. It was just as good as cuddles in his mind. Being able to feel each other's bare skin was a mesmerizing feeling for the both of them.

The two spent an hour in the tub together before getting out and heading back to their bed. Their bed had been set up with the tv at the foot of their bed on a stand tall enough so they could watch tv comfortably. As Evangeline was finishing up in the bath tub, Philip positioned each one of the pillows on the bed so that it created a horseshoe shape. He made sure all their favorite blankets were on the bed and ready for her. When Evangeline came out of the bathroom, she got into the bed and got ready to watch a movie. "What movie should we watch tonight?" she asked as she turned on the tv and started looking through all her options. "How about a horror movie?" Philip asked as he cleaned up the rest of the bathroom. Philip was a picky person when it came to cleaning so he always had to make sure everything was perfectly clean. "I think a horror movie would be a great idea." Evangeline said as she navigated over to the horror movie selection. She saw a long list of movies and wasn't too sure what to pick. She wasn't into gory movies but loved the ones with ghosts and demons that were based off true stories and events. "How about the movie Winchester?" she asked. "What's it about?" Philip asked as he walked out of the bathroom towards the bed. "It's about the Winchester firearms company. Sarah Winchester took over the majority of the shares after her husband died. She kept saying that the spirits of the those who died from the Winchester firearms told her what to build and how to build it. Basically, the ghosts helped her recreate the places where they died. The house is huge and it has lots of different features. The movie is basically the story of how it all came to be and what happened." she responded as she got the tv ready and prepared for their night together. "I think that sounds like a pretty interesting movie." Philip responded in agreement. The two very much so enjoyed their horror movies and made it a regular experience together. Sometimes they'd scare each other and other times they just enjoyed being scared with each other.

Philip headed down to the kitchen and grabbed one of his pre-made bags of popcorn. He took it back up to their room after making sure he had other snacks and drinks for them. I want to push her closer to her limits but I don't want to scare her away if I do. Maybe I should research more ways to do these things that won't push her beyond her limits. Philip thought to himself as he walked in their room. Evangeline was waiting patiently for him in their bed. Philip climbed in joined her, making sure he handed her all her favorite snacks and treats. They settled in as they started to watch their movie together. I really hope that I'm ready for things to be more aggressive in the bedroom. I know he's trying to ease me into it. Evangeline thought to herself as she snuggled in close to Philip. They continued to watch the movie together and as always, Drifter was at the foot of their bed.

Two Weeks Later...........

Evangeline and Philip has a long two weeks of hard work and processing cattle with the ranch hands. Evangeline seemed to have caught a stomach bug that she just couldn't shake. It wasn't easy for her to deal with but somehow Evangeline made it through.

Everyone met up in the stables so they could untack for the day and groom the horses. On days when cattle were worked at the ranch, if everything was done, the group had the rest of the day off. All the hands groomed their horses and cleaned up their tack. Evangeline had gotten Salem all done up then lead him over to main paddock so he could run with the herd again. Once he was in with the other horses Evangeline headed over to their house. When Evangeline had been sent into town to grab a few things for the cattle processing, she noticed there was a large pool on sale for a good price. She had bought it and stashed it away in the shed. Evangeline snuck into the shed and pulled out the large box. She dragged it into the back yard and started assembling the pool. After the pool had been assembled and ready to be filled, she pulled out her cell phone. "Hey John, I'm really glad you answered. I just put up the pool in the back yard and I was wondering if you could send a water truck out to fill it up for us." she said. "Of course I can! John said. "Thank you so much!." Evangeline said as they hung up. She ran to the shed and grabbed the rest of the pool supplies. She made sure to put the thermometer in and of course the floating horse that held the chlorine tabs. She knew the water truck wouldn't get to the ranch for at least 45 minutes so she took all the floaties out of the shed and set them beside the pool. She texted Philip to drop off an air tank at the house. by the time the water truck got to the ranch, everything for the pool was ready to go. Evangeline sent out a mass group text to everyone. We're having a pool party in our backyard this afternoon if anyone wants to join. I have to head out to a doctor's appointment but I'll be back around 3pm to join everyone. She sent the text and made her way to her pick up and headed into town.
