“Alex,” Cassian muttered in surprise. “What are you—” he glanced at Green, obviously confused about the entire situation.
Hurriedly hiding his panic, Alex stepped in front of Green before he could say anything, and acted delightfully surprised. “Oh, hey! I was supposed to meet with an old friend, uh, Tee. I made a room reservation here but I got stood up. What are you doing in this place? Shouldn’t you be at the office?”
