The chilling voice echoed across the council hall.
A deathly silence followed.
Noah's fists clenched until his knuckles turned white.
"You've got some nerve threatening my pack."
He stormed toward the shattered doorway, but Kael stepped in front of him.
"Wait."
Noah glared at him.
"I'm done waiting."
"They're after my people."
Kael's crimson eyes remained fixed on the smoke outside.
"That's exactly why you shouldn't rush."
"They want you angry."
"They want you to make a mistake."
Damon nodded in agreement.
"He's right."
Ryker growled impatiently.
"So what's the plan?"
Lucian walked to the broken window and looked outside.
His expression darkened.
"They've surrounded the pack house."
"There are at least two hundred rogues."
Kieran cursed under his breath.
"They're not here to negotiate."
Zane quietly unsheathed his sword.
"Then we fight."

Flames consumed several buildings.
Warriors clashed with rogue wolves in every direction.
The cries of frightened children filled the air.
From the center of the battlefield stood a massive figure cloaked in black armor.
His face was hidden behind a bone-white wolf mask.
Dark energy swirled around him.
Every rogue wolf instinctively knelt in his presence.
He slowly raised his head toward the council hall.
"I know you're in there, Moon Queen."
"You cannot hide forever."
A violent shiver ran through my body.
"I know that voice..."
Everyone looked at me.
"I've heard it before."
Kael frowned.
"In your memories?"
I nodded slowly.
"When my parents were killed..."
"He was there."
The room fell silent.

Hundreds of rogue wolves charged toward the pack house.
"They're coming!" a guard shouted.
Noah's Alpha aura exploded.
"Silver Moon warriors!"
"Protect the civilians!"
"Drive them back!"
The ground shook as dozens of pack warriors shifted into wolves.
Battle erupted.

"We hold the entrance."
Ryker grinned.
"Finally."
Lucian adjusted his gloves.
"No unnecessary risks."
Kieran rolled his shoulders.
"Let's remind them why they fear Alpha Kings."
Zane gave a single nod.
"I'm taking the left flank."
Within seconds, the five Alpha Kings rushed outside.
Their terrifying Alpha auras swept across the battlefield.
Every rogue froze.
One Alpha King was enough to terrify most enemies.
Now there were five.
The battlefield trembled.

The Silver Moon Pack answered with howls of their own.
Hope returned to the warriors.
"Our Alpha is here!"
"We can still win!"
Kael glanced at me.
"You'll be safest with me."
I opened my mouth to argue.
Then pain exploded through my wrist.
The crescent mark burned like fire.
A blinding vision flashed before my eyes.
The bone-masked man...
Standing over a woman covered in blood.
He ripped a glowing crystal from her chest.
Then he turned toward a little girl hiding behind a tree.
His cold voice echoed through the memory.
"Find the child."
"She must never become the Moon Queen."
The vision ended.
I gasped.
"It was him..."
Kael caught my shoulders.
"What did you see?"
Before I could answer—
Boom!
The front wall of the council hall exploded inward.
Dust and debris filled the room.
A towering rogue wolf crashed through the smoke, his glowing red eyes locking onto me.
"There she is!"
He lunged.
Kael drew his silver sword in a flash.
Steel met claws with a deafening clang.
Sparks flew across the room.
The rogue smiled wickedly.
"I found the Moon Queen."
Then dozens more rogues poured through the broken wall behind him.
