Chapter 3

Heaven's pov

Inside a small dining room,at a small round dinning table sat Heaven with her mother eating dinner that they bought at the market on their way home.They are eating steak,green salad with wedge potatoes on the side.

"Come on now tell me what you wanted to tell me"Said Agnes (Heaven's Mother)

"Mom I said I will tell you when we finish eating"chuckles Heaven

"I can not wait,tell me before I die because of a cardiac arrest" stated her mother looking serious now

"Okay mom I got a job at .."Before she could even finish her mother was already hugging her, crying tears of joy for her daughter

"Mom you're depriving me of air supply "cried Heaven then looked at her mother who is still crying and hugging her tight

"Oh I'm sorry baby, it's just that I'm so happy for you" Agnes said while wiping her tears with white napkin.

Heaven smiled at her mother then said

"I know mom, I'm also very excited but scared at the same time,what if I don't do my job right,then I get fired,how am I going to get funds to relocate to Germiston and persue my dream career of becoming a pilot" Cried Heaven, hot fat tears screamed down her beautiful face.

Her mother hugged her again,brushing her back as she comforted her.

"Listen my daughter,you will do well because you were born to do great things, you're humble and you excell in everything that you do,I trust that you will do great,hush now sweetheart and remember that you're destined for great things and you're here trying your best and baby stop putting unnecessary pressure on your self okay"

"Okay mom thank you" said Heaven as she is still enjoying her mother's embrace and registering her mom's words into her brain.

"When do you start baby"asked Agnes as she moved from her

"Monday morning at 08:00am , I'm a personal assistant of a CEO of this huge Company called Steel Engineering"reveled Heaven

"Did you get a chance to meet your new employer"

"No mom I did not reason being he was out of the City when the HR department conducted our interview"Explained Heaven

"Well good luck sweetheart and fingers crossed that you will work for a good,kind hearted person,who is not full oh himself like my boss" said Agnes looking like she is wondering in thought.

Heaven stared at her mother astonished,this is her first time her mother has talked about her employer and she seems to be hurt as she's explaining about her boss.

"Mom" called Heaven, reaching out to her mother's hand in a comforting manner,her mother stared at her with surprise on her face she then said

"Oh no honey nevermind me I'm okay"

"Okay" Heaven said with a heavy heart as she didn't want to pry and bother her mother any further.

Heaven went to bed with a heavy heart and unanswered questions,she even found herself talking alone, wondering why her mother suddenly felt like that.She tossed and turned on bed all night,sleep seemed to be far from her she closed her eyes forcing her brain to stop working overtime eventually sleep took over.

Besides sleeping in the wee hours of the morning Heaven woke up around 05:00am in the morning,she stretched her sore muscles,made her bed and went to the bathroom.She did her business,took a shower,her tensed muscles relaxed under the hot water cascading down on her body.After showering she looked at her self in the mirror and groaned

"AAAh,I look aweful!!!!"

She had bags under her beautiful brown eyes due to the lack of sleep,she came out of the bathroom and wore her beautiful blue short sleeved summer dress and black pumps and went to the kitchen to make herself and mom breakfast.
